Too many students. There were no other travellers. Just a lot of 13 year old French and German students, screaming and running around. Although it was definitelz a funny place to people watch. The "disco" downstairs is too much.

Huge Building! A bit like a maze. Other than that, just great!

Ciarus has a lot of great services. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is good and breakfast has quite a lot of options for a hostel. Strange sleeping arangements, you're basicly in a double bunk separated by half a plywood sheet from the complete stranger next to you. Other than that, an Ok hostel.

A large hostel aimed mostly at large groups of school kids etc. But only hostel in Strasbourg so I would definitely reccommend it. Good location, very decent breakfast (if a little early). Checkout was too early. But overall fine.

Top notch beds and secure! Social areas seemed empty but probably due to it being mid week. A great and affordable hostel within easy reach of the town center.

No character at all. Fairly expensive amenities, but can't fault it for someone to lay your head. Just don't go looking for a memorable time there.

Only spent one night here. It was ok. Ended up in a four bedroom with only one other person so was ok.

I can understand some time used for cleaning, but not 6:30 hours... they should change that, because it's not fair to pay a whole day to be only from 15:30 to 9 in the morning the next day... Great breakfast, great rooclose

very big hostel. which means it caters to very large groups. there was hundreds of kids 15 years old and below staying when i was there. but thats not so much the hostel as it is my bad timing--just beware that they do in fact have a lot of large groups. verz clean, all modern, not the best...

Focuses on school trips and therefore swarming with teenagers. If you dont mind that, then its a pretty good place to stay - clean, walking distance to pretty much everywhere but pity it doesnt have a kitchen.

Really clean and nice! Will definitely stay here again if i'm back. Walkable distance to the city. Free breakfast was pretty decent. Can get a free map from the counter instead of buying one from the Tourist Info Centre.

Very clean. I would recommend it to somebody staying in Strasbourg. I would not recommend eating at the hostel however, the food is horrible and over priced. Perfect location though, and extremely clean. Pretty much a hotel.

Wonderful. Staff is very helpful, rooms and bathrooms clean and sweet bar. Sometimes though, stampedes of 12-yr olds check in, and it gets a little loud. Good times!
