2. Hotel Pousada Arara 80%      

   Good basic little hotel with a lovely pool in the courtyard. The grocery store next door is very useful. The street outside might be worrisome to the nervous, but really it seems to be quite safe.

   Very clean, very nice pool/barbecue area. Good breakfast, helpful staff. Halfway between downtown and Praia do Futuro with frequent buses. Right beside a very good supermarket and close to good restaurants. A few blocks away from Mucuripe beach with beautiful seafront (polluted, though).

3. Cumbuco Hostel 80%      

   I stayed here with Jessica and it was amazing! Mario his wife and staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Although quite far from Fortaleza I would recommend staying here and would love to go back. Cumbuca is a quiet friendly village although I have a feeling it won't stay like that for much...

   Stayed here on a recent 3+ week trip through Brazil. Its okay. At check in, wasnt told of "extra fees." Internet is more, breakfast is more, they even charge for electricity...what? Rooms are almost new...and very poor quality construction. The price looks pretty good...but, add in the extra...

   One of the least pleasant hostel experiences I had on my trip. Toilet paper and matches to light the stove are not available (excuses being that customers steal both!). The woman hassles people for the exact hours theyll be arriving/departing so she can milk extra off others that may want to...

   This hostel is what made our stay in Natal. With all the social areas it is easy and a great way to meet people, with the hostel organising bbqs and nights out etc! George speaks perfect english and all the staff are willing to help you book day trips, buses, recommend places to eat etc! Rooms...
