Top hostel with an amazing view and just a stroll from Barra da Lagoa. Helpful staff got my laundry back within an hours notice and are so willing to help you out!

A new hostel but a fantastic one! It does eveything right from food to fun. Provides excellent actrivities during the day, great bbq, sushi night, karaoke etc. Set in an idyllic setting more like a 5 star hotel than a hostel! Breakfast is fabulous and loads of it too and rooms are just that...

We had a great time at studio formana, the place and the view are beautiful. The hosts are very kind and helpfull, even when I got sick they took good care of us. :-) We recommend this hostel / studio to everyone! Thanks for the great time Dieter and Annemarie! Emma & Doynell

We had such a good time at pousada ancora! Nelson the guy in charge, is the best guy ever. Really helpful and nice!! It reminded us to big brother!! we met a lot of people and became like a big family!

The breakfast was fantastic and the couple who ran the hostel were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us find a hire car and researched bus timetables for us on the internet.

The staff was great, the pool closes early, but it's in a good location near Praia do Santinho, which has great waves. The Pousada also has beach chairs and umbrellas.
