that's a hard one. riad damia as such is a five star hotel which offers a couple of suites to much higher prices and two or three simple rooms via hostelworld. that being said, the location as such is just beautiful, but the rooms are quite basic. not your typical hostel experience. it's really... more

A stunning Riad architecturally and very good staff and breakfast. It was a struggle to get hot water and the wi-fi dropped in and out many times though we have had the same problem elsewhere in Morocco

The standard double room is probably over-priced for what it is. A nice hostel, lovely and helpful manager, beautiful building, but we would probably look for something different next time. PS I wouldn´t stay there as a woman traveller on my own as it is a good walk through some narrow streets...

As a girl traveling solo, I felt very safe. I stayed for 2 nights. The staff was personable and spoke English well. They made arrangements to have a tour guide for the day at a low expense. The location was a short, inexpensive taxi ride away from the main attractions. Breakfast was good and lots... more

10 out of 10 for this place. Staf are as friendly as possibly could be and the Riad was out of this world.

Amazingly spectacular decor. The riad was an oasis from hectic pace of the city. Had a fantastic meal supplied on our arrival. Beer was a little on the pricey side. Great stay.

the guy was helpful and kind, but extremely greedy: 1) we booked a twin bed ensuite and he gave us the worst room in the whole riad even if all the other rooms were free 2) laundry: to wash a bag of dirty clothes he billed us 40euros!!! 3) for a very simple dinner at the riad (moroccan... more

Very beautiful Riad and the manager is quiet, friendly and professional. Our ensuite bathroom had a pretty funky smell - I think some pipes were burping sewer gas. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and smelled fine however. The twin beds were nice. Breakfast was very nice. Overall, a good,... more

Un peazo de hotel, precioso. Muy bien localizado en una zona tranquila, cosa que es rara en Fez. Tardas andando 10 minutos a las calles centrales. Tiene una terraza con tumbonas impresionante. amazing riad. the concierge wasn't that helpful though in terms of giving directions and information but that may have been a language barrier thing. But me and my friend are pretty sure we got bed bug bites from this place... not good.

This is a beautiful and majestic Riad, definately a good place "to do the Riad thing". Helpful and friendly host. Make sure you get a metered taxi to get there (and insist on using the meter), because it is not far from the mentioned gate, but still hard to find.

The riad is absolutely gorgeous, no photo could do it justice. Our room was very large, with a private bathroom and sitting room area. Breakfast was also delicious and fresh.
