There is a wealth of architectural styles, including the remains of a Roman temple, baroque palaces, pretty smaller houses etc. Lots of photo opportunities for keen photographers. There isn't much to do there, but the city is very atmospheric at night - just walking around is a pleasure in itself. Good restaurants too!close

Reasonable choice. Breakfasts are quite simple, only bread, rolls and jam. They should also provide wireless internet access.

This restaurant is famous throughout Portugal and people come from all over to eat here. Hardly surprising as the food is excellent. Local Portuguese specialities.
