  “ Essaouira is a great town to relax in. After spending three days in Marrakech, we were ready to get out of the heat and Essaouira was perfect for that. The beach is really windy, so not the best for laying out, but if you like to wind surf, its definitely a good place. It's more laid back… more than Marrakech and was a great place to end our trip. It's really easy to get around -- we walked everywhere.close

  “ My first impression of Essaouira as I walked through the walled city was of utter wonderment. To me, it is more authenticly Moroccan than Marrakesh and feels like being thrown into a medieval middle eastern market town. The weather is warm but a bit too windy to sunbathe on the beach and it… more is so w indy and chilly at night outside the walls but there is lots to do and we stayed 5 days. The restaurants were too expensive for us; about £10 but the snack bars are DELICIOUS with the same menus for only £3close
