Local folks are very friendly, but get used to being constantly hounded to check out people\'s stores. Women traveling alone should be prepared for a lot of friendly attention - not inappropriate attention or harassment, just a constant stream of attention from men wanting to talk to them (and usually sell them something).close

Good Moroccan food in a pleasant atmosphere. Excellent seafood - but then you'd expect that from a decent restaurant on the coast. Service was good, and not overbearing or nonexistent as at other places.

Shopping80%
Dozens if souvenir shops to choose from! Lots of woodcarving workshops and also plenty of artists displaying their works. We visited some Beduin stalls, selling all types of wares....as I was pregnant, I was presented with a traditional silver bracelet and told it would bring me luck! Great to just wonder about the streets and take in the traditional crafts.
