Front door wouldn't lock. The bed was full of bed bugs, we didn't sleep a wink. We reported the bugs, they claimed to be surprised but couldn't do anything because the 'manager' was away. In a month of travel, this was the worst place we ever saw. Avoid at all costs.

There are cats on the groundfloor and immediately a stench hits you on entering the front door. The decor is incredibly dated and falling to pieces. We also had water dripping from the floor above onto our bed, and were biten by mosquitos all night. Given the general lack of hygene, especially in the hallway and common areas, we left without even bothering to have breakfast. All in all, it was certainly the worst hostel we have ever stayed at!close

A rather musty, somewhat unkempt building with a rather neglected atmosphere. Good breakfast though. A little farther from the centre than the website indicated. Daniel O'Mahony

The room was too small, not clean, the sheets had stains. Only the breakfast was alright.

Lamentablemente no es un alojamiento recomendado. Bastante sucio y muebles antiguos y descuidados. Muy pobre.

For the price, this place is great. A good breakfast in the morning, a nice enough English staff and ownership, and a close location to Oxford make it nice. You also can get your own bathroom at a decent rate. Downside, it is a bit loud, but what B&B isn't in Oxford? Recommended.

Average quality but what you would expect for the price. The breakfast was disgusting as everything was so cheap. Have less items for breakfast & better quality instead of a big english breakfast of low quality offer only a few items which people will actually enjoy.

good breakfast and location to all the good stuff in oxford. very cheap. clean bedding and towels, carpets needed a hoovering. i would recommend it if you are there for breakfast and sleeping only and spend the rest of your time in town, not a good place to spend a lot of time in.

The rooms resembled closely to the 'Young Ones' place - dirty and literally falling apart. The shower curtain looked and smelt like it had been used for toilet paper. The manager was the twin of Bernard off the TV show 'Blackbooks', a weirdly disinterested individual. The worst place we have ever stayed in!!!! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!close
