I had to wait quite long to check in because there was only one person to serve the pub's and the hostel's customers, and the process was slow.

great place to stay, as location is fantastic. as there is a bar below, don't expect sleep before midnight! the showers could be improved, so water flow is normal and change the temperature...overall a really good stay!

Amazing location. Ten minutes from Bath Spa train station and about two minutes from Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths. Clean and the bathrooms aren't bad either.

There were live band playing until 12:00 pm.And you can hear people talking from the stree at the midnight, then at 4:00 or 5:00 am some people made extremly noises from upstairs, so I could not fall to sleep until 6:00am. Otherwise the location and staff were good.

First time staying in a 10 person room, definitely noisy and above the bar- not the best night sleep. However, staff was friendly and helpful. The bar below with great drink and food deals/discounts made the stay better!

We found the breakfast not very good, we were only provided toast and tea/coffee. We expected a little more. Having stayed at St Christopher's Inn at Shepherd's Bush before we expected it to be of the same standard (ie. cordial, cereal etc).

Bath is super small and this hostel is right in the middle. Good price and reasonably clean and tidy. Loud bar crowd beneath so be ready for drunks and football chants.

There is a pub below the hostel so it can be quite noisy until late - definitely a good place to stay if you like to party. If you need to go to sleep early you might want to stay somewhere else. The location is very central and it's pretty clean.

Even though we didnt check in til 10pm, you would think they would have some staff on that knew how to check guests in. it took 20 minutes to check us in, and again the next morning, a long process... rather frustrating, but it was great to stay, close to everything.

Great place to stay. Location was the most attractive aspect, particularly that it was close to public transport, supermarket and tourist sights. It was a little bit overpriced.

Not a bad place to stay though there was a funny smell in the room - will give them the benefit of the doubt and say it could've been a fellow traveller! Remember to bring your own lock as there is a 'cage' attached to the bed where you can put your belongings.

True, the card keys need to be swiped 20 or 30 times before the room door opens, and the directions should not say to turn right on Railroad Place (because then you run into a dead-end at the Royal Mail facility), and yes, the chill-out room could use some new(er) furniture. But overall, not too bad. Just keep your expectations low.close

The rooms were really noisy with traffic outside, noise from other rooms, from the pub, from the beds that squeaked and shook so I felt like I was in an earthquake everytime someone rolled over or closed a door. The bathrooms were awful. Bar staff were fun and location great but that's about it.

Granted there were renovations being done, but I still paid full price for a hostel with no bar, no lockers, no kitchen or food storage areas. They did have beds, though. And a bathroom.

Nice prices in the bar, breakfast was free. + for security, you have to have a key card to get in to your doorm. Under all the beds there was an locker you could lock with a padlock.

I wasn't too impressed - i only stayed there for 2 nights, but was happy to leave. The bathrooms are pretty gross, and the showers are pitiful. There isn't much character to the place, unless you want to go to the bar downstairs. The bunks are so low that you can't even sit up in them either.
