  3. Gibela Backpackers Lodge Durban 90%      

    Had a very good experience at Gibela. However, we booked the twin private room thinking there was a shared bathroom, which was not the case. Really liked the beds and the bathrooms were very clean. Not a good place to stay if you plan on partying it up though because they want to keep the place...

    This place is clean. Elmar is a wealth of information and ever so helpful. Am not a big fan of the location, though. But then again, public transport isnt at its best in Durban. Its proximity to Super Spar was a big bonus.

    A great backpackers if you don't need to be close to the city. Taxis can be difficult to get so its best to hire a car (very cheap from the airport).
