  “ fantastic accommodation very close to the old town, lovely owner (Josip) went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and we felt at home there. Steep walk up a few hundred steps to reach it but well and truly worth the spectacular view from both room and balcony. Will definitely return... ”

  “ Great house with incredible view. Our double room had a very retro 60s vibe but was in great condition and very clean. Close to the old town and beach and there is an amazing Mexican restaurant at the bottom of the steps leading up to the house. Those steps will keep you fit! ”

  “ Nice little house. The owner is helpful, though he speaks limited english. We enjoyed our stay there. The only thing to note is that you have to go up 369 steps to get to the house from the beach. With the heat, it can get quite hard to ascend. ”

  “ What a disappointment. Having read the description provided by the hostel we had assumed it was located within the old city. In fact, it is outside the walls, up quite a steep hill with LOTS of steps (not great when you are loaded with luggage). The directions provided were useless and we had to... more had to ask several times before we got to the right place. When we finally arrived, we found the twin room with private bathroom we had booked was actually a double room and the whole place smelt badly of damp. The owner did not seem to understand why my friend and I were unhappy to share a double bed for the next four nights. Although he eventually did offer to make up another room this was not ensuite. We decided to leave and found another, much nicer, apartment, nearer the city centre for less money. I'm sure this could be an OK place to stay as long as you are aware from the beginning what you are really getting - at the moment it is misadvertised. close ”
