A great place to stay, would highly recommend. Owners were extremely friendly and we really enjoyed their assistance and knowledge of Dubrovnik.

My friend and I stayed with Bozo and his lively family just last week and we were so very happy that we chose to stay there. The apartment is delightful and we were made to feel part of the family. We will return!!

can't fault this place: clean, near a nice beach and the harbour (only about 25 minutes from the old town too). Bozo and family were SO helpful, and we had a great time - thanks very much!!

We travelled 4 weeks in Croatia , Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro. Bozo, Anita, little Mateo (3 years) and grandma were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic! The family who own the apartment are extremely friendly and willing to help in anyway - we even received a run down on the local attractions over beer and wine! :) It's about a 25min walk from the old town, theres also the option of catching a bus from right outside but... more Absolutely fantastic! Only a 5min walk from a supermarket, small shopping centre and beach which i think is much more useful than being close to the old town :)close

You could really find no better place if you like peace and tranquility away from the... more I was delighted to stay at Apartment Mateo and I would highly recommend it. In fact, I stayed there for a few days at the beginning of my trip in Croatia and was happy to go back for my last night before I left. You could really find no better place if you like peace and tranquility away from the busy old town and appreciate interacting with a really nice and welcoming family. The apartment has everything you could possibly need. The bus stop is down the road and it takes only 10 mins to go to the old town by bus (and they come regularly). Lapad beach is only 5 mins on foot - you can go for splash in the morning, go home, get changed and head into town with no hassle. Bozo and Anita Buric are great hosts!close

We had a fantastic time at Apartment Mateo. Bozo and Anita were both fantastic hosts, extremely helpful and friendly. The accomodation was value for money and close to transport links and the beach.

The family who run the apartment are very helpful and welcoming. The apartment is near a beautiful beach with lots of amentities and is not too far by bus to the old town.

this is a room just near the hosts' place and the only really strange thing is there is only a net curtain on the window looking over the shared patio. it's rather uncomfortable worrying about them being able to look in, but they seem not to be around too often for that to actually happen
