This was a small old style apartment which is in a good location but it is not by any means a hostel. There is noone there ever to help you out with any questions/info/tours as stated on the website. We were not given any towels or sheets and beds were left unmade for 3 days in our room after...

The bathroom was disgusting. The garbage wasn't being removed regularily and the shower curtain was coated with mildew. They didn't seem to clean up after guests left, just left the mess for future guests to clean up.

Nice place although more like an apartment rather than hostel, with no contact with anyone. They wanted me to pay at the end and when I went to pay it took me 2 hours to find a staff member, and this was only be coincidence, because staff don't hang around.

This Villa accommodation is close to the beach in Lapad so about 5 minute bus ride out of the old City but is extremley DIRTY! i ended up showering in the showers at the beach and the rooms didnt look like they had ever been cleaned... look around before booking here

For what you get, this place is expensive. The 4 bed dorm has its own little sitting area with tv and fridge, but there is no computer to use which is strange especially considering how much you pay. Small hostel which was clean and tidy. A fair trek from the main bus station but the local bus system was pretty good. Lockers were available.

The dormitory looks like a bunker. It's dark. The shower was cold. I don't know what to say about cleanliness coz it's look clean but i'm suffering from allergies and i've needed my pills. Avoid except if everything is full coz it's expensive for what it is.

I don't think I would ever go here again because I didnt like Dubrovnik. It was fairly clean but i found the bathroom of the dorm room really gross. Also I thought it was overly priced. its close to a beach, but pretty far from old town. Internet didnt work.

My room was super clean. It got a little stuffy in there at night. The only disadvantage about this place is that anytime i wanted to talk to staff member i had to call them on their mobile phones. I don't have a mobile phone so I had to call from a public phone. There isn't a public telephone...

Located really close to gorgeous Lapad beaches and right next to Old Town bus line! Friendly and helpful staff and even the dorm is pretty and luxurious. The only thing I would say against it is the bathroom could be cleaner. But I had a fantastic stay!

They upgraded me to a private room for the same price, so I definately have no complaints. They didn't say why. Maybe they overbooked the dorm.

how the hell does that shower work? haha i spent 15 minutes trying to have a shower and nearly missed the bus. not bad overall though

The dorm room is down below the building in a basement of sorts - pretty isolated, dark,cold with no cooking facilities. Dubrovnik is great, but this place is pretty average - especially for the price - strongly reccommend looking for accom elsewhere if you are a single backpacker :)close

Great place..I booked a dorm and they put me in my own room for the 2 nights at the same price! Granted - it was low season - but they were very nice hosts! It's a short bus ride to old town - fun location

The Villa was quite pleasant and for the cost good value for money. Its not hard to get into town, but it does take extra effort when it rains. Theres an eatery and bus stop quite close. For other sole travellers, it would be more fun to stay at a hostel.

Wonderful host couldn't do enough to help. Location close to beach and supermarket - a little way from old town but easy bus access. Nice place to base yourself and relax for a few days.

There's a severe shortage of dorm accommodation in Dubrovnik, since most places cater to the more expensive or family crowds. This was basically just a basement apartment in the villa that was converted to a dorm with bunk beds. The whole time I was there, nobody ever cleaned up, except to make the beds when someone checked out of them. The trash cans were overflowing, the showers and toilets were disgusting, and there were bugs crawling everywhere. We had to pound on the owner's door for basics like toilet paper and trash bags so we could clean the place ourselves. The location was fine, in Lapad, only a short bus ride to Stari Grad. But the owner was never there, and it was impossible to find anyone when we needed something. There's a supermarket next door, true, but the kitchen just has a fridge, no stove or utensils or any way to actually cook, so it's not much good for self-catering. For the money, I think it's possible to do much better in Dubrovnik.close

Good location - easy access to old town, and great walks straight out to Lapad peninsula. Great fun...but we had to push 2 single beds together as they had no double beds. Apart from that, all good!

This is a really good choice even though it is outside the city walls. Its only a few minute bus ride away from everything. the staff is also very helpful with everything.
