He even called the bus station for me to check when the buses would be leaving the next morning for Mostar. Very helpful. By far, the best hostel Ive had out of the 5 or so I have stayed in throughout Europe.

La ubicacion es excelente, el alojamiento esta barbaro, el desayuno buenisimo y la gente muy amable. Lo unico fue que pensamos que podian irnos a buscar a la estacion pero no pudieron igual fue muy facil llegar.

Great location within the walls. Very clean and a very good breakfast is served at 9am. Very kind staff, who literally ran to meet us after we text messaged that we had arrived. definitely recommended.

We actually never stayed at Villa Flora because they had some plumbing-problem, and they let us know by mail the day before. But the staff did find us a alternative accomodation, with the same facility and price, and made our stay in Dubrovnik as fantastic as it could be!! :) Hilde & Kjartan

More like a little hotel than a hostel, and with breakfast thrown in as well, you'll find it hard to get better value for money in Dubrovnik! Excellent location, quality room, can't receommend it highly enough!

Had problems with the shower being cold for all 3 nights. Not resolved and disappointed with the response. The place is really nice but the problem with the shower and replacement towels needs to be actioned. Not also aware that there would be no change of bedding either.

The owners and hostess were really good to us - thanks eleanor! Very willing to talk and to give us advice on what to do in the city. Villa Flora is an amazing location, the old town is breathtaking. As long as you can manage the steps I would recommend it to anyone.

The owner was not there when I arrived and I had to get another lady to ring the owner. There were too many steps to climb with our heavy luggage.

Facilities for washing up were quite poor, also not much information regarding where local attractions and facilities were to be found were available.

Opening the shutters in the morning to see the sun streaming in was great, as was looking out the window to see the narrow streets below. The room is well equipped (no soap though) with a kitchen available on the ground level - so you have everything you need. To get to Villa Flore you have to climb a few staris, but not too many so be aware of this. In addition, the accomodation does not have a front desk (most places are the same) so ensure you take down the phone number provided when you book, as you will need to call the owners to meet you at the door. It 5 minutes for them to meet us once we had called. We would definately stay as Villa Flora again - and recommend it to others.close

Just in the center of the old town, and just a few meters from a street where you can find at least 8 fish and sea food restaurants. Very convinient and fairly quiet. The street is very steep, and tio get to villa Flora you have to climb some steep stairs, so if you have problems walking, it...

Spoke excellent English and was very helpful with miscellaneous information. The establishment was quaint, nicely decorated and very clean. With AC! I would suggest putting more than 2 tiny towels in a double room and some kind of shelf in the bathroom. A very nice surprise was that breakfast was included and the mother who served us breakfast was great! Their Internet site advertises "meeting/transportation from the port or bus station". They do not provide this service. Also, the site's directions are to turn right at the 3rd street from the Pile Gate. It is actually "turn LEFT"! Overall Villa Flora is a wonderful place to stay, conveniently located inside of the walled old town and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.close

Excellent location and really friendly staff. There is limited hot water here - so if one person showers, you need to wait for a while before enough hot water accumulates in the hot water tank so that the next person can take a hot shower. Otherwise, great room in a great location!

I didn't actually get to stay in Villa Flora as there was some confusion with my booking - but the owners went above and beyond the call and arranged fantastic alternative accomodation for me. I just wanted to let people know how helpful and charming the owners were. Thank you.
