Great location, really nice people. She can organise to pick you up from the airport and wash your clothes for a small fee. If we ever return to Dubrovnik we will look to stay there again.

Would highly recommend this place. In brilliant location in the old town, very clean and spacious rooms. Lady is lovely too and calls everyone 'darling'. She can even arrange a transfer to the airport.

The owner was lovely and very helpful. Watch out for the transfers to the airport. The young guy was a radical driver where we had to ask him to slow down and drive safely numerous times. There were a few near misses!!! Other wise great place to stay!

She is one of the loveliest, sweetest people you will ever meet. She made us feel like we were staying with family. We can't say enough! The room was excellent, squeaky clean and the location was right in the center of Old Town, which is invaluable because it places you within walking distance of all the sites, restaurants, cafes and excursion boats. Dubrovnik is truly one of the worlds most charming cities. Quick note: if you love to swim don't pass up Lokrum! The ocean on the far side has some of the best swimming we have ever experienced.close

Would have appreciated a set of cutlery, the right flat had mould (probably due to concealed water leak, problem for allergic guests) in the kitchenette, the owner recommended a restaurant that was really poor, a veritable tourist trap.

Great welcome from Anka (lovely lady!). Room OK with air conditioning, TV and individual bathroom. Great location. The price would seem expensive, but things are like this if you want to be inside the walls in Dubrovnik. We had a wonderful time here. The rooms are beautifully done and the location in the city center was perfect. Lots of stairs up but all the better for burning off all the ice cream we ate! The owner is wonderful and so sweet she even called the bus station for us to make sure we could get a bus...

Anka and her son were so helpful. She me us where the cab dropped us off and walked us through the city to where she lives. It is a perfect location in the city walls and by far the best place I have ever stayed. I could not believe the service that we got for the amount we paid. Stay Here!

I LOVED this place. Our room was clean, adorable, and in a great location...and for a great price too. The women, Anka, who runs it is very sweet and helpful. I definitely recommend it-and dubrovnik is beautiful!

A perfect guesthouse, the owner is a darling and knows everything going on in Dubrovik! Rooms good size and very clean. And the guesthouse is in a prime spot in Dubrovnik close to everything! I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone.Dubrovnik is a special place and staying here makes it more...

The place is located right in the Old Town which is fantastic. Anka, the lady who runs the rooms, is fantastic - very friendly and helpful. The place is also very clean.

The woman told us it was because they were renovating the other place! We didn't feel very safe with our window right on the back alley and we could hear anybody walking by. The room had a very strange odor!!! It was coming from the bathroom so I kept the door closed... but sitting in the room too long gave me a bad headache. The room had small bugs flying around which I killed and left on the walls. It was an ok location just NOT what we wanted and the smell of the place kept us out and about so I could avoid going back to the room. I would not stay here again. I also choice this place because cleanliness is very important to me and I read the great reviews on this website. I don't understand how these people thought the place was so clean.close

I had specifically booked Rooms Vicelic because I wanted us to stay IN the city walls. No explanation was offered at this stage. The apartment we stayed in was reasonably close to the medieval city so we didn't worry too much about it at this stage. However, on inspection of the apartment we found it was very run down. The toilet seat had broken off, all the cupboard handles fell off, the place was dirty and it smelled musty. Needless to say we were very disappointed. Upon checking out we expressed our dissatisfaction with the accommodation and the fact it wasn't in the city walls as advertised. We were told that this was due to someone being sick(?). We did finally get an apology and the cost of the taxi to the airport was paid for, but it was still a disappointing considering we had paid a little bit more to stay in the walls.close

Stay here! It's in the perfect location, right in the heart of the old town - right where you want to be. It's not a 'party' place, but there aren't any hostels, etc like that in or near the old town anyway, so it's best to stay here and head out to 'Fresh' bar to meet other travellers.... more Stay here! The downstairs bedroom includes a kitchen (there is also a common kitchen in the hall) and there are sinks in all of the rooms. There is a lovely porch to sit outside and eat or read. Great location right in middle of 'Old Town' Dubrovnik - minutes from everything, but far enough away to give peace and quiet from hoardes of organised tour groups! Anka (owner) is probably the nicest host we have come across after 7 months of travelling! Great value for money. Stay here!
