the location is a bit out of the way a beautiful 20 minute walk or a 5 minute bus journey wit the bus stop rite at her door. However i wud highly recommend any1 travelling 2stay here. We broke chairs on our 1st nite drinkin in the apartment nd she didnt mind +collected us from the airport. der isnt any hostels inside the walls so 4the excellent price nd excelent hospilality shown kates hostel is a top recommondationclose

These peope are lovely, they picked us up from the bus and took me there to catch the bus to my 6am flight. They went out of their way for us and seemed really genuine people. It´s an easy walk or 5 min bus ride to town and there are places to eat close by also. I strongly recommend this place :)

For the price, this is probably the best option in Dubrovnik. It's easy to get into the old town or to Lapad by bus, and the place is very clean and quiet. Kate will pick you up at the bus station and will give you a lot of useful information about Dubrovnik. This is not a bad place to stay - has a kitchen and nice room etc. The owner needs to give the guests a bit more space - eg, she monitors a/c, common areas etc ALL the time.

Kate was a really lovely helpful woman, the hostel was great, we had a huge room and had a fully equipt kitchen, the facilites were second to none! its in a good location, the bus stop is at the end of the road, the walk to the old town takes 20mins but has lovely views and is quite a nice walk.... more Kate was a really lovely helpful woman, the hostel was great, we had a huge room and had a fully equipt kitchen, the facilites were second to none! its in a good location, the bus stop is at the end of the road, the walk to the old town takes 20mins but has lovely views and is quite a nice walk. the area feels very safe even at night walking home. had a great stay and would highly recomend this accomodation.close

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. It's not the most central place by any means, but Dubrovnik isn't very large, and the walk is very pleasant. What makes this place special is Kate. It's not the most central place by any means, but Dubrovnik isn't very large, and the walk is very pleasant. What makes this place special is Kate. What a lovely lady...she's going to go to a lot of trouble to make your stay great - she certainly bent over backwards to help me and my friends. The rooms are good as far as hostel-style accommodation is concerned, and there is a nice bathroom and kitchen. I couldn't recommend this place more!close
