We actually didnt stay at the Toni Apartments as there was a complication with the booking, however the owner sourced an alternative and fabulous apartment overlooking the old city and harbour and even took us there in their own vehicle.

After making a reservation for our stay at Apartments Toni through Hostel World, we received an email confirming our stay. After that we were in touch with Apartments Tony directly to arrange an airport transfer.They even called the night before we travelled to confirm everything.... more After making a reservation for our stay at Apartments Toni through Hostel World, we received an email confirming our stay. After that we were in touch with Apartments Tony directly to arrange an airport transfer.They even called the night before we travelled to confirm everything. However,on arriving in Dubrovnik, we weren't taken to Apartments Tony,but to another apartment in a different neighbourhood.The other apartment was fine- both clean and well-equipped-but its location would definitely not suit everyone as getting to the nearest bus stop meant a walk along a narrow path between a building site and a graveyard and up a steep flight of steps. I would like to suggest that if guests have to stay in alternative accommodation in the future, staff at Apartments Toni should tell the guests where they will be staying before they actually arrive so they can decide whether or not they want to take it. It would improve customer service no end. Thank you.close

We booked a apartment on the internet and were contacted by the property the day we were leaving to say it was over booked but they could get us a accomodation nearby which would be similar to what we had booked. We accepted this as we were arriving late that evening in Croatia hence the reason we had prebooked accomodation. Although we had booked a double ensuite we got a twin with a bathroom that was shared with others. For the money we paid this was the poorest accomodation we had for our whole stay in Croatia. It was the most expensive. The room was fine. But not very clean. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly. The location was fine & the lady of the property seemed nice we had little contact with her.close

We didn't get the room that we booked, instead of a double room we got 3 single beds in a completely different location, and then Toni tried to charge us the original price when the actual room costs were displayed on the wall of the new room, he "forgot" that he had moved us. Not very...

It would have been helpful to have some information in the room relating to the apartment eg, dont switch off this switch as it is the water heater/ how to work the sattelite tv / a map showing where it is in relation to everywhere else so getting to the beach, bus station etc would be easier.

I was very disappointed with Toni apartments, very misleading, nothing like the information/photos on the internet. There was nobody there to meet us after we told them our time of arrival. We had to phone them. The bedroom was very small and uncomfortable. Very overpriced. Indeed I think some...

The property was advertised as an apartment when it was really just a room in someone's house. The staff were friendly but it was a bit awkard when your door opens onto the living room. The staff did pick us up from the airport at 10 pm. That was very helpful.

The staff at this guesthouse were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. Fab views and would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a stay in Dubrovnik.

The hosts at Apartments Toni could not have made us feel more welcome or at home. I will certainly be recommending the accommodation to friends and colleagues. We even returned to stay after travelling around Croatia a little! Fabulous country and fantastic accommodation...

The owners were lovely & really looked after you. The apartments are in a quiet area, about 10mins by bus to the old town, but we hired a scooter so had no problems commuting.

The apartment is walking distance to nice beaches and lots of restaurants, pubs, shops...everything you will need. Trips to the Elafiti Islands depart within easy walking distance also. The owners are welcoming and extremely helpful. A great place to stay in Dubrovnik!close

Only one very small gripe, unfortunately none of the rooms we stayed in (we stayed in two) had a fan or air con in the bedrooms which got quite hot at night

Our aparment was located on Petra Kresimira, less than 10 min walk to the old town, fabulous views, our own balcony, air conditioned. We were extremely satisfied!

Also, I think the website could have given directions on how to get to the apartments. We figured out that you have to get the number 6 or 9 bus from the Pile Gate at the Old Town. It's not a long journey to the Old Town but maybe a bit long to walk in the heat, so you're definitely better off gettting the bus! But I would definitely reccommend it as a place to stay in Dubrovnik which really is an amazing city!!close

Out of Old City but near good facilities, nevertheless, Apartments Toni is marginally over-priced for its location. Saying that, we booked extra nights there such was our good impression of the place.
