A lovely place to stay, only a 15min walk to the old town, with buses going just about anywhere from a 5 min walk away. Accommodating owners who provide transfers to the port.

This was our first night in Croatia. It made for a wonderful start to the vacation. The gentleman renting the place was extremely accommodating. The room was very large with all of the amenities. It was a bit difficult to find but is in a great location.

Good decent place to stay for a couple of nights. Steve came and collected us from the bus station which was great. We ended up only staying one of the two nights we booked as we met up with friends and he was really great about it. The only major con is that its quite a hike to get anywhere but...

Excellent host, gave us a welcome meeting over a drink when we got there and his mum made cakes. Stejpo was very keen to help with any problems. Had a room with kitchen facilities, including free air conditioning. Lapad is about 15 minutes away from Old Town by bus, the beaches in Lapad seemed...

Anna guesthouse was excellent for our purposes.The propietor Stjepo was a fantastic host,full of helpful advice & local info & a passion for his country.Although out of town,local shops&bus stops make it easily accessible& hence a peacefull retreat.Highly recommended.

Really friendly owners, only 20 min walk from old town, we booked a twin room and ended up with two bedrooms; one with a king size bed! Highly recommended.

This is a very good place to stay, the only things is that unlike a hostel you won't meet very many people as the apartments are all separate.close

Steve was a great host and did everything he could to make our stay wonderful. His mum even made us crepes to welcome us and churros when we left! Picking us up at the Bus station and shuttling us to the port at 7am to catch ferries was greatly appreciated. We weren't put in the guesthouse, but in an apartment belonging to the manager's sister. It was lovely, clean and central but doesn't really compare to the hostel experience. However the manager was amazing- picked us up from the ferry, dropped us off at the bus station, gave us loads of tips and...

Very beautiful stay at Anna Guesthouse in september. Nice room, with all facilities, and a beautiful terrace. Stjepo gave us all information about the nice places and restaurants, and was very nice and thoughtful (his mother too !). A place to recommend, thanks to Stjepo

They were extremely helpful and can tell you everything you need to know about Dubrovnik.close

We loved staying here. Excellent location with great beach and restaurants close by. Great food at Bella Donna down in Supermarket complex. The host was exceptional we really appreciated all his help and would definitely stay at Anna guest house on our next visit without hesitation.

Met at bus station which was great, and given a cold beer on arrival. Steve gave good info of Dubrovnik. Nichola who works as the driver for the hosel is a champion!!! Lifts to and from the Old Town were much appreciated and was even more valuable as they were not expected. Would recommend this guusthoust (not hostel) for anyone who wants good value and an extermely clean and comfortable stay.

It felt like coming home! Very kind, helpful and friendly staff, cozy room and nice terrace. The best accommodation on our journey, no doubt about it. Location is quite good too, beaches, shops and bus stop nearby.

Stjepo picked us up at the bus station and drove us to Anna's and immediately poured us weary travelers a drink. He was easily reachable by his cell - we texted to time the pickup. He and his mother were wonderful hosts - great breakfast on our last day - amazing Croatian hospitality. The room... more Stjepo picked us up at the bus station and drove us to Anna's and immediately poured us weary travelers a drink. He was easily reachable by his cell - we texted to time the pickup. He and his mother were wonderful hosts - great breakfast on our last day - amazing Croatian hospitality. The room was very clean and very private. Air conditioning if you want to pay a bit extra if its particularly warm that night. Very close to a bus stop to take you into the old city. If there is anything negative to be said about Anna's it is that the walk back to it from most of the Lapad restaurants is very steep and uphill, but dont worry, its good for you, just take it slow and look back once in a while to take in the view. I can't recommend Anna's any higher. One thing we found out a bit too late: You pick up the bus from one stop at the bottom of the hill, but you can take the 6 bus up the hill a bit (2 stops I think?) on the way home and avoid most of that steep walk!close
