I've been to a good few zoos by now and honestly don't think much of Dublin Zoo, save your money and enjoy a day in Pheonix park for Free! Last time I was there lots of the animals weren't there, lots of monkeys though (hmmm)

Dublin Zoo is a fantastic place to visit. Get the number 10 bus from the city centre. Stop off at the tea rooms in the Phoenix Park and then go into the zoo - there is so much to see - esp the mini farm and the safari park.
