I've been to a good few zoos by now and honestly don't think much of Dublin Zoo, save your money and enjoy a day in Pheonix park for Free! Last time I was there lots of the animals weren't there, lots of monkeys though (hmmm)

The facilities are great, lots of places to eat or have a picnic, good baby/toddler facilities too! In this animal kingdom i have to say my favourites included the seals and the penguins. The Gorilla enclosure to me was a little sad, but that's possibly because these great creatures have an intellegance and presence about them which kinda makes us humans feel more than a little humbled! But get along and visit if you can!close

Dublin Zoo is a fantastic place to visit. Get the number 10 bus from the city centre. Stop off at the tea rooms in the Phoenix Park and then go into the zoo - there is so much to see - esp the mini farm and the safari park.
