Dublin is a nice little city, a very good place to spend a week end... Not incredibly beautiful (some interesting things to see but nothing compared to Prag or Paris for example) this is more the very lively atmosphere that is worth to be experienced. Don\'t expect too much of the weather, if you want the sun better go to Spain. The biggest problem is money: everything is really too expensive and the food is just awful! |

dublin, capital a taille humaine.
super sympa la journée mais le soir c\'est vraiment le best.

Only there a weekend. It was wet and cold, but made the pubs that much more attractive. The Irish are fantastic people! |

Bella città, non sembra un capitale, si gira a piedi ma è molto carina. In inverno però portatevi Kway e ombrelli... il sole è un miraggio... |

Dublin is a very bussy city with a very good atmosphere, plenty of young people and things to do...but?? It is REALLY expensive, more than Paris, and it is not so good. They also close everything too early at night (12pm weekdays, 2pm weekends). It is an interesting city to visit because of the irish atmosphere, but there are many other places where you will get more for the money this travel costs. |

A lot of changes since my stay in 1992. I did mis a little the real Ireland and the cousy Dublin. Only at Temple Bar we found a bit of the old irish feeling. But we had a nice stay anyway. |

It rains in Dublin. Get used to it because everyone else has. Even when it\'s absolutely pouring out the streets and pubs are filled. Bring an umbrella or rain coat and you\'ll be fine. |

The perfect long weekend getaway for a 3-4 day stint. Visit a few historic pubs, take in the sights of some churches, book of kells the trinity library, famous queen of tarts dessert, Guiness/Jameson\'s factory. Did I mention all the Pubs? |

Great city of friendly fun-loving people but with very poor public transportation, bad traffic and its shockingly expensive especially if you pay in $$. |

A REALLY INTERESTING CITY TO VISIT A DRINK BEER |

Excellent, cheap, clean, central, lovely staff, what more do you need for a cheap break. |

Beautiful city, not too much to see within the city. Guiness and Jameson factories were cool, great food everywhere but could be a bit pricey for young travelers. Pubs everywhere and a large percentage of pub-goers were in their 40\'s-50\'s. |

I love Dublin, Ireland so much that I am returning for school and to live! |

Great city, very cool bus tours and very funny bus drivers. Do the Hop On, Hop Off and visit the Dublin Castle- the tour is worth its money.
Unfortunately, Irealnd/Dublin is very expensive, so plan on bringing some extra money (we spent 200 € in 2 days in Ireland... only for eating, bus driving and tours!) |

This is the second time I have been to Dublin. So the weather basicaly just like England. The place is packed with things to do and there is alot of different people there for all over the world. The only bad thing is there are loads and I mean loads of beggers food drink can be very pricey so look around. |

Dublin was a lot of fun and felt very safe. The food was amazing and you definitely got what you paid for. Our only complaint was that it was cold!! especially at night and the sun set very early. |

Dublin is such a great place to visit. The city is actually really modern which I was happy to see. I found everyone super nice and helpful. It was a great time in Temple bar area and seeing Guinness Storehouse. It seems at night if you are walking alone in some parts of the city it would be best to take a taxi since there is a bit of petty crime. Just dont wander too far off and walk back to your place super late. |

I was surprised that the city was so expensive, and my friends were shocked when they liked the Guinness (they hate the kind they get in their home town). After just a day, we were talking about moving to this great town |

The weather made it bloody awful heading anywhere outside for any length of time. While there are some nice attractions you have to walk through some fairly seedy areas to get to them. Overall not bad. For the winter months though I'd say your best bet is to pick one of the number of lively pubs and camp out inside. |

We booked this hostel pretty last minute but got a great deal. It is clean and comfotable with great bathrooms. The best part is definitely the location. It is right in the middle of everything you could want from Dublin! |

I don\'t recommend this city, definetly is not a Top 10 in Europe. Probably a Top 20. |

So scenic and the bars are awesome. So much to see, I highly recommend a train day tour. |

Dublin is a city that still lies in my heart. I never met so polite people before. That's the best thing that you need to keep from Dublin and the most of Ireland. However the city was unbelievable dirty and the education level enough bad. The police is unarmed and with no power at all to face the criminals and scumbags. However the city is growing and things go well. I suggest you traveler if u wanna take the chance to visit this country don't spend to much time in the city of Dublin. All the other cities of Ireland are much better. But even those things you won't be disappointed. You will never find so much plenty of entertainment again, restaurants, (not fast food shops are bad). All the city is like a celebration every day. In the south parts of Dublin you where mostly rockstars live it's really gorgeous to walk. Everywhere close to seaside is nice. The housing situation is archaic and people who own houses are really ignorants. The public transports awful also and there is lack of hygiene. But despite these you need to visit this city. There are a lot of other things you may discover there. You need to find the secrets of this "young" city. |

I was in Dublin Recently for my 21st birthday. Transport in the city is very good and the fares are priced reasonably. The city was not quite I had expected. I had heard that Dublin was expensive and it lived up to what I had been told being expensive for both food and drinks. The city centre is a fun place to explore and I\'m sure had I been in Dublin a bit longer this review might have been a bit more positive. The Guinness storehouse is a fantastic place and the zero gravity bar at the top gives you brilliant views of the city. The Temple Bar is a great place to meet loads of different people as well as natives for a pint and some good conversation. |

Dublin\'s great, enjoyed New Years Eve there, everyone was friendly, lining the River Liffey with drinks in hand and smiles on faces. A really friendly & fun place. All the main tourist stuff is within walking distance. |

All the main tourist stuff is within walking distance. Warning: EXPENSIVE! Ireland in general is the most expensive country I've ever visited. |

Spent three days in Dublin on February. The weather was surprisingly good and central Dublin is nice and compact for pedestrian exploration. |

I love that you can walk anywhere and it only takes 15 minutes. The weather is cold and a little rainy but not really that bad. There are a ton of bars and pubs and that sort of thing. I really enjoyed the parks and the National History Museum. The bog bodies were really interesting and a little gross. |

Well, I don\'t want to say much, because everybody should discover everything on their own, and in Dublin there are so maaaany things to do and see that I would surely forget something.
Simply: go there, and you will enjoy it, whatever you might wanna do: go out and party, shopping, sightseeing, etc.
The only thing you should pay attention to is the wather, which is often raining. |

This place was more of a B&B than a hostel. HUGE breakfast and wonderful staff. Rooms were very quaint and perfectly clean, changed the towels every morning and made the beds. I hardly wanted to go home- perfect accomodation. Do not go looking to party at the hostel but its great if you're looking for some relaxation and a short trip into town where the real fun goes down. Rooms were adorable. |

Still being in Dublin and staying at Dublin\'s International Hostel, I am fascinated by the life that goes on in this city and its own irish character. Dublin is not as big as other western european capitals like berlin or paris, but offers a comparable metropolitan and international flair. While the city centre offers all kinds of shops, Temple Bar in the southern centre offers a fantastic nightlife with lots of bars and clubs. The Liffey River divides the city into a northern and a southern part which are connected by many many beautiful bridges and a huge public transport system consisting of buses, tram and railway. Trinity College, O\'Connell Street, Temple Bar, the Guinnes Storehouse and Dublin\'s parks are only a few must-sees of the city. Irrespective the huge price level of Dublin which even visitors from the UK recognize, Dublin is really worth a visit, maybe as part of a bigger journey through Ireland. Have fun! |

There is so much to see and do in this city!! Don't leave without doing the following:
*Guinness Brewery
*Old Jameson Distillery
*O'connell and Henry Street - Great for shopping!
*Temple Bar - Gogherty's Pub - GREAT TRADITIONAL IRISH MUSIC!!
*The Brazen Head Pub - Ireland's oldest pub!
*Go for a walk along the Liffy River
*Go to Howth Summit for the day and have fish and chips by the harbour. |

Dublin is a good jumping point for seeing Ireland. Most tour groups depart from here. However, the city itself is mediocre. There's nothing really wrong with it- it's just not so exciting on it's own- unless you like the bar scene, but that's all over Ireland. But this is a good place to come for a day or two before heading off to enjoy the 'real' Ireland |

Dublin was great!! The people that live there are great and very friendly. The fellow visitors that I met were all there to have a good time!!
Be sure to visit the Temple Bar area. It was great and full of life!!! If you are hungry stop by Quay\'s in the middle of Temple Bar area for an authentic, delicious and reasonably priced Irish meal! The Fish and chips, any of their stews, and Bangers and Mash were great!!!
Guiness Distillery is a must see...even if you are not a Guiness fan! I normally do not enjoy drinking Guiness but it tasted so much better from the distillery. Plus, why not give it a whirl for a free pint of Guiness at the end of your visit to the distillery. And you also get a great view of Dublin from the Gravity Bar where you enjoy your free pint of beer. Also, make sure you are patient when you are waiting for that pint...there is a skill to serving a Guniess, so sit back and watch the \"pros\" at the distillery pour your beer. |
