  “ Doolin is a very small village( some houses spread on a hill,some near the sea,some quite high on it). You have to have a car,or be a keen walker/biker to deal with its location. It\'s the ideal place if you like activities such as walking and biking, you love nature, and you are… more looking for some isolation. There are a couple of fine pubs with lots of caracter,and I think it\'s good to avoid going on high season,as it can get quite busy,and miss something of its unique character.About middle March,a ferry start going to the Aran islands,which is a great place to visit too. I\'d love to be back in the area sometime!close

  “ Was looking forward to the charming small town of Doolin based on guide books and internet recommendations. Got to Doolin just after noon and there were no more buses to the Cliffs of Moher. No ATM in the town. Only 2 taxi drivers, one who was out of town and one who didn\'t answer… more the phone. A definate low point on our trip. Don\'t go in the off season, pay the money for a coach tour from Galway instead! close
