Didn't really feel like a hostel at all in the sense there was no potential to meet other travellers, seems more like a motel where people are living long term....close

New tenants came and went and rooms where never cleaned, just changed bedlinen. Mouldy ceiling in the shower in the older part of the hostel. Hostel was supposed to have been renovated a couple of years ago, in some parts yes!

The sleeping room was dirty and smelly and it looked like the trash hadn't been cleaned out from under my bed in weeks. Bathrooms were better but with a toilet paper shortage.AC functioned poorly in the room with half of the room hot and the other cold. A noisy, party place not for serious...

The kitchen was very smelly and did not invite to beeing cooked in. Think the place had more focus on running a bar than a hostel, so things were pretty dirty and not well kept. Very nice pool though

Booked 8 dorm: 10 people slept there, no shelves, no lockers, everything lied on the floor, very dirty. Bar is very loud. In the night reception staff is working in the bar, so you have to compete with drunken guest if you want something. Pool is nice. Would never ever stay there again.

Cramped rooms, you couldn't swing a cat in the 6 bed dorm. Thank God we were moved from the 12 bed dorm which was worse! Very noisy 24/7 - our room was right above the bar & pool. Thank God we were moved from the 12 bed dorm which was worse! Very noisy 24/7 - our room was right above the bar & pool. Security was a joke, our room mates constantly left the door unlocked & we had no lockers for our belongings & people can just walk in off the street & upstairs to the rooms. Beds are no good. Can feel the springs poking my back. Kitchen is only average. Also it would be good if there was free wifi. Location is good as it is near the mall.

Nice hostel in the center of Darwin. The beds are unfortunately not so good. But the hostel has good 4 bed dorms with ensuite bathroom. It is a bit of a partyhostel, but if you like that, it's ofcourse no problem

I would only recommend this hostel for a short stay if staying in a 16 bed dorm. In fact try and avoid the 16 bed dorms as they are dirty, smelly and very uncomfortable with no security. The restaurant, bar and pool area are great and the location of this hostel is right in the middle of things....

It was noisy with my room over the bar, and I was sharing a room with girls who were staying for weeks. It was very dirty and full of their unpacked clutter. But that's hostel accommodation. A day tour was arranged at short notice by the on-site operator which was fantastic.
