You walk up the spiral ramp most of the way to the top and then take the stairs to climb the rest of the way. It's a really popular spot with tourists and local school groups, so you might have to wait your turn to climb the narrow stairs to get outside to see the city. The tower itself is 35m high. It's also Europe's oldest functioning observatory and is still used by astronomers today.close

It was way to expensive to go upstairs, it looks cool from outsite though, maybe next time :) We were told that the views of the old town from the top are amazing It was open from 10 to 17 (winter timetable)
