This is Denmark's largest museum of cultural history. The museum's main building is a classical 18th century mansion just a stone's throw from "Strøget" at the center of Copenhagen. This is the place to follow the history of the Danes.

    I have to say I love museums like this. Lots of the artefacts were quite unusual, right down to the fuzzy, animal hide underwear that's part of the huge Eskimo collection. You'll see weapons, clothes and jewellery on display too, and a visit to this museum is a great way to learn a little bit... more
