I sat outside under one of the... more Mama Rosa is right in the centre of Copenhagen's main shopping area, Strøget. It serves a great mix of Mexican and Italian dishes from a really large menu. Prices are reasonable and the food is really tasty. Service was quick too, and the staff were friendly. I sat outside under one of the umbrellas facing the street. The tables are covered with really colourful table cloths and had potted chilli plants sitting on top of them, keeping in the Mexican theme. If you're looking for a cheaper deal, this is a good choice because it offers reduced rate lunch specials and also set menus.close

There are lots of different dishes to choose from, both hot and cold, and you can go back as many times as you like! I really enjoyed this restaurant but it's a good idea to get there a bit early, especially if you want to sit outside, as it can get quiet busy. The staff were friendly and the service was good. If you're not into vegetarian food, they also do a selection of meat dishes on the regular menu.close

A coffee and a pastry was good value, and they do lots of different offers and specials too. They also offer a selection of sandwiches and bagels too, and you can take these away so it's a pretty good spot to stock up on food for lunch if you're not going to get a chance to stop later on in the day. The staff were really friendly too, which is quite nice first thing in the morning.close

This particular shop is... more There are a few different Baresso Coffee places across the city but the one I ate at was in Kongens Nytorv. I had a coffee and a pastry at relatively cheap prices. There's a large hot and cold drinks menu to choose from, as well as some sandwiches and lots of pastries. This particular shop is close to the touristy Nyhavn area and it sometimes hosts culture nights.close
