Excellent city, very clean, safe, historical, friendly, educational. It is the perfect place to spend a long weekend or easily a week as there are too much things to see and do. People are really friendly and helpful. You can get the train from Copenhagen Central Station and visit Malmo (Sweden) is just 30 minutes.

Although we were there in January, I thought the city was a bit sleepy! There was not much happening but the changing of the guards. I wouldn't recommend going there in winter, but then again, go there in summer and you will probably find it even more of a rip-off city!

Not the city with the most initial charm but give it a chance...it's a great place to hang out and party...and there's lots to see!

I thought Copenhagen was wonderful. It was a nice place to just walk around and look at stuff. Tivoli was definitely the highlight.. Glog (a drink) was... interesting... dont eat the raisins/wood pieces.

Not a huge amount to do here - some nice sights and stuff but everyting is expensive. The bars are nice and the people are very friendly and all speak excellent english.

This city has some of the most friendliest people i have meet. But overall I felt this town was very simillar to amsterdam but on a much smaller scale. We found it very difcult to get vaule for money, transport cost more than we thought and the same with food. Tickets for musuem were resonable though.

It is a nice place, but don't go there if you are on a tight budget. 4$ for a .5 L drink. A lot of walking here.

I liked the city, the new harbour is so beautiful, really charming. The problem with the city is the high prices. I didnt mind this time because i came on a birthday trip but wouldnt be coming back soon as you really need loads of cash to enjoy properly. Will be missing the little marmeid though!

Great city to visit. the exchange rate isn't the best for the US dollar but whatever. I would still suggest going to copenhagen.

Great city, especially if you love chilling out at a café with a beer and a cigarette, or if you love cruising around the city on an old funky bicycle, with the great bicycle trails and wonderful downtown city streets, or if you appreciate a courteous and tolerant culture. Oh, and don't forget Christiania, too. Thumbs up from me!

I went for New Years but I would go at this time of year. The people are great but I would definately save this one for a warmer time of year. But that's going to be the same for anywhere.

Go Copenhagen! I liked this city very much. The city is colorful and there is a lot to do and see and it is easy to get around. Lots of small alleys with interesting shops. There is excellent cafes and the city is very beautiful. I recommend this city to everyone since it is very versatile. The best time to be in copenhagen would probably be in the spring or summer:).

Copenhagen should be visited at least once by everyone and the time of year I went was suprsingly good weather. However the huge issue with it is that it is one of the most expensive cities in the world, and in my opinion more so then London. Food is hard to get for cheap, alcohol is also expensive and as for sightseeing, there is only so much and it all again adds up. I do reccommend going and doing a day trip especially to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art however budget a good amount of money.

Kopenhagen is one of my favorite places in europe. Is´s a small and a big town at once. there is a lot thopping and great resturants. But it allsow has the small alleys, with lesser people where you can just relax, have a nice cup of coffe or a ice cream.

Went to Copenhagen for the Easter weekend because I hadn't checked that box, the Danish people are super friendly and helpful and everyone speaks English, which is a cheek to say, but very convenient as I don't speak Danish (and apparently only 5.5m people do so that's okay). There isn't a lot to do here in my opinion, but I think the summer festival would be the best time to go & also a good time to check out some of the beaches advertised in some of the brochures. Anyway, it's always nice to move through such a beautiful airport and there are certainly lots of lovely chairs and other designey bits in Copenhagen. Food is ludicrously expensive and I've never seen so many people eating sugar in my life. It's a good two day break, check it out!

copenhagen is a great city, getting around is very easy on clean efficient transportation. I was there for easter when the carlsberg brewery and tivoli gardens were closed. however you can still take snaps and have loads to do. good eating, you can quite easily do on a budget or splash out if you like. reccomend mama rosas.

I took a weekend trip in copenhagen, I must say it's enough to see the city in a weekend but try to add in a few more days to explore the other parts of Zealand. I went to Roskilde and was deeply satisfied by the scenic view of the town near the Viking Museum.

Excellent ! What can i say ? ! Lovely weather and everything is just so close and well located. We visited 4 museums in one day, a lot ahead our schedule !! That's why we spent half day in Iuusm a very great mall and bought many Dane design bags and cookies. Cheap and nice ! I visited the first 7-11 in EU, even better than the one at home ! and i feel very much like home with 7-11 ice-blend drink. We had a drink in colourful Nyhavn which atmosphere is nice too. The only not good enough is, there's arent much English name of the train's station which is a bit diffcult. but okay to ask. Overall, København is friendly, lively, continental n international.

Copenhagen is EXPENSIVE. Make sure you know the exchange rate so you know what you're really paying. Two drinks in a bar will cost you about 17 USD.

la ville est en fait assez petite et en deux jours on en a fait le tour... pour sortir, faire du shopping... c'est malheureusement tellment cher! l'activité incontournable: le vélo! il faut absolument en louer ou prendre les free bike (de mai à novembre)

There are some great jazz clubs in Copenhagen, and you can easily pass the night listening to smoky music. However, there is a drawback to Copenhagen, and that is the rampant smoking. Beer is plentiful, and its easy to rent a bicycle to get around the city. The Little Mermaid is a sight to see, but a word of warning, don't go there on a bitter cold winter day. The wind from the harbour will cut through you.

Take a good pair of walking shoes to Copenhagen and you can see all the major sites very easily and it doesnt cost a cent! Dont forget a trip to Christina - the social experiment from the hippy area still going strong today with houses build from recycled material - just be wary walking down Pusher Street.

the metro is awesome. not just easy and quick but also artistic. it is a very international city. people are very friendly. pretty much everybody speaks at least a little english. i looked pretty lost a couple of times there, people just came up and offered help. the city itself could be little dirty, kind of like new york.

This hostel doesn\'t look much from the outside but this hostel is great! You share rooms but meet so many people it is the best place to stay in copenhagen only a short walk from town & has bus routes close to the hostel.

A very expensive city, with drinks going at around £5 a pint. The sights aren\'t amazing, possibly even disappointing. The metro service doesn\'t have as frequent stops as most other cities, meaning there is more walking to be done. The nightlife is very fun, full of Irisih Pubs with lots of character and interesting people. Not the cleanest of cities...

there is a really nice park called the King\'s gardens where everyone goes. when i was there it was really nice and warm but too hot to walk around the city because there was NO airflow. the park was the best place to chill. i swear half of the city was there too

It\'s location actually is good, but difficult to find as it it seems that is unfinished, there is just an A4 paper showing the hostel name at the entrance, and when I asked for the kitchen, they just direct to an micro-wave oven......One of the toilet also under construction....However, I think It will be good when it is finished. Location is excellent, just 15 minutes walk to Nyhavn.

I really enjoyed my few days in Copenhagen. Sure, it's a little expensive but it's a Scandinavian country so I was expecting things to cost that bit extra. It's still possible to keep the cost down, which I tried to do by looking out for free days at the attractions and buffet offers at some of the restaurants. There are lots of things to see, from the almost obligatory Little Mermaid statue to the Christiania commune to the Carlsberg Brewery in the Vesterbro area of the city. There are a lot of places to shop around the city and the nightlife is pretty varied too. Autumn was a pretty good time to go I thought, as the place wasn't teeming with people but the weather was still really nice. Altogether, it was well worth the trip.
