It was a nice hostel, with a great morning breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. More of a hotel than a hostel, which was a nice surprise.

Overall I believe its good value for the money.close

Unreal breakfast -- best I've ever seen at a hotel. Staff is friendly. Area looks a tad on the sketchy side but we didn't have any problems, and the hotel itself is nice enough. A little on the expensive side, though..

The staff is friendly and always willing to help or give directions. There is an elevator, which is great when you have luggage. It was clean, but the bed linens smelled like cigarettes, which was basically the only downfall.close

There was no possibility to make tea in the room and the machine in the lobby did not have a tea 'button'. This would be the only thing I can comment on. About security it is difficult to judge.

The staff were very helpful and extrememly polite. Our luggage was left in a secured room after we checked out. The breakfast was very nice, I appreciated the ability to make fresh tea and toast as required. Excellent value for money, bright and cheerful. The economy room was a little outdated, and needed decorating but for a few nights it was fine. The shower and toilet was nearby, always clean and accessible. I will be recommending this hotel to my friends. Thank you.close

We had booked a twin ensuite room but this was not available for us the first night. According to the records from hostelworld we hadnt booked this room. However the hotel were excellent and were able to upgrade us the next night. Please ensure you send thru the right booking details.

I would have liked to know in advance that it was not possible to book a room w/ shower via Hostel World. However, the shared facilities were meticulously cleaned, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful to my father, whose luggage was lost.
