I have no complaints at all with the Hostel. I enjoyed my stay quite a bit. The rooms were cozy, though a blast from the past with the olive green walls and 70's era TV that still worked. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

It is not located in a safety neirbourhood. Many hookers and pimps around the area but it is just 5 minutes walking from the Tivoli and the downtown.

Could not ask for a better place to stay! Less than 5 mins from the central train station and only 10 mins to walk to the Main square and shopping/ sightseeing. Accomodation was clean, safe and comfortable and the staff were brilliant. Would definitely stay again and reccommend to all my friends...

The hotel is in a dark part of the city and there are dubious businesses happening just outside. The rooms are old though still quite clean. The good side is the nice breakfast selection.

First and foremost, the hotel is very easy to find, and it is easy to walk or bus anywhere in Copenhagen from there. Breakfast was AMAZING, wonderful fresh food, great selection, and included...until 10am too, which was a treat. Staff were helpful and accomodating. I would definitely stay here...

Great location near the train station and the city sights. A somewhat strange interior design, the facilities were nonetheless adequately clean and well maintained. Creaky floors and having to use the bathrooms down the hall were somewhat annoying but otherwise the stay was quite enjoyable.... more

The desk people were reall friendly. The security of the hotel itself was good, though it is in a dodgy area. If you are travelling by yourself try not to arrive too late at night. Other than that wonderful breakfast, clean, nice rooms, no complaints!

The downside of this hotel's location (next to the train station and some other budget hotels) was the constant presence of prostitutes outside the hotel. One could not go outside without being pestered by these ordinary-looking "ladies", day or night. Other than that, the room I stayed... more

I chose this hostel because it was near a metro station and also Tegel airport, which we were flying out of the following morning. It is in a rather dodgy area though, but we didn't have any problems, even late at night. We only stayed one night, so didn't get the full Absalon experience...

We got a free upgrade to a better room, which meant we got to stay in the real hotel and have a bathroom in our room, instead of shared bath and hostel beds. We were 'upgraded' to a hotel room sweet, it was like a private hostel room. everything was pleasant and nice, its just a shame that there was no hostel feel to it, little interaction with other guests and no proper communal area. Free breakfast was fantastic though, spot on.

The place was perfectly located and an easy walk to everything that you need to see, so close to the train station its perfect to get to from the airport. The rooms are small but on holiday you never stay in your room.

Location is fantastic, 2 minutes from Copenhagen Central Station. Free breakfast was great. It is part of a larger hotel complex so the service is excellent but with hostel prices. Not really for anyone looking for a fun hostel experience looking to meet people though.
