Very nice and clean room. The only negative thing was the thin door which didn´t feel very secure and did not block away any noise. The location was great, although the neighbourhood was a bit "rough", especially at night time.

OK place to stay over one night. Clean room, clean shower, stinky toilets. Many prostitute in the streets near the hotel at night. Not so funny. Close to the centralstation.

Good hotel and good location. Just right by main train station. They couldn't find my booking though, but they sorted it out quickly and we got a great room.

Although there were sex shops and prostitutes bargaining nearby, we felt safe and the location near the RR station is convenient. It's within a good walk of the Carlsberg Brewery ... interesting. They serve an excellent full Danish breakfast early enough to make connections with the train or...

Small-ish room but; clean toilets and showers (which is good, because they were shared). Much better service than the Nebo hotel around the corner, which I have also stayed in.

I'm not sure that Absalon even has a hostel part, given the amount of reviews here suggesting they were upgraded to the hotel - as we were. It was great, particularly the free and very extensive buffet breakfast which fed us for the morning and lunch on both days. The touting ladies outside add a bit of colour, but given the location (right next to the station) you can't complain.close
