The building is located amongst other older, beautiful buildings. You walk out the front door, the Rhine river is directly in front of you. You have access to the river cruises, and numerous pubs and shopping areas. You are also within walking distance to the Cologne Cathedral. The staff are excellent. The building is old and has character.close

Hayk is a very charming hotel, cosy and comfortable. The location is very good, in front of the River Rhine and a 5-10 minutes walk from the cathedral. Staff is very nice and very safce place. My only complaint is that my room was a little too noisy, but I recommend the hotel anyways1

My husband and I come to Cologne every six months or so, and we always stay at Hotel Hayk. The staff are wonderful, the place is nicely appointed and clean, not to mention the location can't be beat. We will continue to stay at and recommend this place.

This was our second stay at Hotel Hayk. Our first experience in the summer of 2006 was such a pleasant one, that we decided to go back. Fantastic location, wonderful staff, very clean rooms and oh so cozy beds...we'll be back again! Did I mention the breakfast? Overall, however the hotel offers great value for your money and I would go there again.close

Cute little hotel in a tourist district along the Rhine. Just a short walk from the Dom, with many restaurants and bars to choose from nearby.

Always the risk of noise located in the Aldstadt right next to river - - we did not find it unacceptable.
