On the other side of the Rhein from the Hauptbahnhof, Dom, etc. so expect to take public transportation across the river every day if you're there to see the sights. Other than the location, very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, etc.

We got way more than we expected for the price we paid!! Nice room, private bathroom. The location is the only thing thats really bad, it´s far out of the city center, you have to take the metro to anything. Very quiet hotel. Cheap but confy. The owner and the staff were extremely nice persons. I didn't feel so secure in the street at night in that area, but inside the hotel security seems ok. Lots of public transportation in the area.

I was deceived to find the shared bathroom not on the same floor but 3 floors higher ! The bathtube was broken and thus a bit dirty..

For a three star hotel, everything was very worn. The blanket on my bed, the tub of the bathroom, everything. The hotel also smelled very much of cigarette smoke.

You'll be greeted at the reception located directly beside its bar which reeks of cigarette fumes. You enter your room and you see a no smoking sign but they have ashtrays on the table. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke and smells, find another.

It's only about a 10-minute S-Bahn trip from the train station, which is right in the city center. You can take the S-Bahn all the way to Düsseldorf from that stop.

Very clean. Obviously a business hotel. The location was a short underground ride from the center of Cologne. Not ideal if you want to party, but just fine if you're looking to play tourist. The room was smaller, but very cozy and clean, and the bed was really nice.

Not in the area where all the sights are, it took us a while to find. But easy access with the metro and overall a good cheap place to stay. Amazing pillows!

It's a great hotel for students and other people who don't want to spend too much money on a hotel. Very close to the underground, which was perfect, a great breakfast, which was delicious,and a nice staff. good hotel!

This place is a little outside the city but in a nice area and close to the trains so it is easy to get into the main part of the city. We had a very large double room and had no trouble with cleanliness. The breakfast was outstanding. I would stay there again.

The reception girl and other staff is very nice which leaves me a very good impression. And the breadfast is also very good. But the room is not so clean as we expected, you can be disturbed by the sound from the other room.

Really nice hotel - big rooms, great showers, friendly staff, cheap food, good bar, reasonable prices. Only three stops from Cologne station too!

Even though our rate was not that good it is a good option considering the price and especially for those travelling by car, although the parking place is not realy the safest, but its for free. Breakfast is the hight pont of the staying, really good, and the late breakfast on sunday is even better.

We got upgraded to a private ensuite room when we arrived, which was good because the shared facilities were a bit dirty. Breakfast is great, and the later breakfast times would have been excellent on Sunday had we not had an early flight to catch. The rooms are nice and clean, except the cleaning lady insists on folding your blanket, even if the 'do not disturb' sign is on the door. I would recommend staying somewhere closer to the city unless you have a EURail pass (because you can use the S-Bahn for free with it). There are also no good/cheap restaurants in the area, so you really have to go the the city for a good feed (the brauhaus' are excellent!)close
