Staff was friendly. Arrived about 11:30pm were there to let me in, but had to make prior arrangements for late arrive. Overall, I was quite pleased, was happy to have a local 2 S-banhs within minutes of the hotel. Very happy!!!!

Very good hotel not near the centre of the city but excellent thepublictransport. Good breakfast too. Reccomanded for indipendent and young people.

Its only an average hotel quite far out and I was rather put off by the cracked washbasin and broken curtains.

nice place, very clean with comfy beds. good all you can eat breakfast. the reception closing at 11pm was not so good though. i said i would be arriving at 11 and got there a bit after. no one there and had to go stay somewhere else for the night! an email telling me this would have been...

It was very clean, and we were very happy with our own toilet and shower! The staff was very kind and helped us where needed.

Wonderful hotel, pleasant stuff, excellent breakfast, what would you ask for more? Location is good, not so far away from Neumarkt and Dome and u have a direct train connection. Some minor minus, it seems that wireless net was not configured well, culd not connect on it, and the room needed a...

This is not a terrible place to stay, and I may consider staying here again if the price stays low. The neighborhood is kind of boring, and its an effort getting there by city transport. Although the sheets were clean, the mattress was filthy. Saving grace...secure and private.

pretty hotel in a nice location, a nice 15min (approx) walk into the city. nice breakfast & dining area. lovely bar 2 mins walk called Litfuss. negatives were no tea & coffee making facilities and think i may have been slightly overcharged.

the water in the shower was either too cold or too hot. it took about 20 min to regulate it more or less. those who like contrast shower might enjoy it:)

This is a hotel, even tho it has no common areas it was great to be somewhere with a bathroom in the room and a TV - YES TV! It is a little out from town but walkable if your feeling energetic!

Great value for money like a hotel room. Had to take two trams to get there, not near any attractions but not far back to train station about 25 minutes.

We had to wait for about 10 minutes for the desk clerk to come down before we could check in. We were ringing the bell and loudly 'hallo' before someone finally came down.

Hotel Colette was as advertised - charming place, clean and comfortably heated room and wonderful staff. Also, great breakfast (and lots of it) and free wireless internet access. Very easy to get to from the centre of Cologne (Main station & cathedral)

In Cologne, each transit route has it's own number. Example: Line 17 is a subway line, Line 9 is a street-train. Also, if you do take transit, you need to buy ticket 1b from a ticket booth, make sure you get out at Zulpicher Str./Gurtel, and not Zulpicher Place or something or you will be lost.... more In Cologne, each transit route has it's own number. The property was really nice. Easily accessible from the main station. There is a little bit of a walk from the tram stop though. In a quiet area too.

Quiet hotel, easy to find and about 20 minutes by tram from the centre of Cologne. Nice dining room with a decent breakfast. The room was cosy but felt a little pricey for what was on offer.

this hostel is way outside the city. also, in the room we stayed in, the window opened right over the bed, so we couldnt sleep with the window open.

Our room was very small compared to the one my friends got. The room and bathroom smelled terrible! You could tell they've been smoking non stop in the room! Besides this it was a good hotel to be staying for a weekend in Cologne, very close to the tram.

We were allocated the wrong room, which meant that we had to move after a day. Following that, having ordered a twin room we were then allocated a double room! Staff were not very helpful, and did little to amend their error.

Very good value for money and extremely clean room. Location was okay with a tram nearby to take you into the city. The breakfast was very good and the lady that worked there was friendly.

Lovely small hotel with a solid breakfast and friendly staff. We were very happy with it. It also has a tramline that passes right in front of the hotel and goes into the city centre. Good value for money!

Good value for money. Simple, clean and generous breakfast. Don't be worry about the location. The is a tram stop just opposite the hotel and the journey to the centre takes just 10 minutes.
