The room was clean. The shower was hot. There was a mini-kitchen, but we didn't use it. The bed was decent. There was a little noise from the street below. Check-out time was 10 am, which is a little early.

The hostel was fine, we did not see any staff after booking in, and for the next 3 days, but our rooms were cleaned daily and when we arrived the manager was helpful in providing a town map and places to see and shop.

I was surprised by high quality of what I got. My private room was big enough, had big TV and even kitchen. I was satisfied completely. The small disadvantage is check out at 10 but I arrived after midnight and we negotiated that it should be 11.

Oversized crucifix in the room. Free champaigne. Bad TV location. Incredible shower and bathroom design. A bit of a walk from central station/Dom Serene

Excellent location, very good shower and bed. The place does not have any other facilities, but it is right next to the bars and restaurants in a quiet backstreet. Good value, I think.

Very friendly hostess and clean comfortable room!))) Pleasant atmosphere! Not far from the railway station and the Dome! Will surely stay there one more time if I happen to be in Cologne again!

Be aware that this is more like a hotel. It was quiet when I was there, the room was functional in every way. Overall good. A little bit overpriced maybe. The location is really good, next to a street with many pubs and restaurants, and also not far from downtown and the main train station.

Very good hostel. Clean, close to center. Though rooms are small, but very cosy. Recommend tgis as for one day staying, and for rather long too.

One of the staff members gave me a very aggressive impression, implying I had bad intentions when she found me walking around the hostel.

Very clean budget accommodation in excellent location, close to all main sights. Lovely complimentary bowl of fruit and gummi bears to greet you when you arrive. If you get a room with a kitchen, the supplies are adequate if you are preparing food simply. sorry, I was expecting a hostel with common rooms etc as I was travelling alone, so from that point of view it was a little disappointing, but very convenient all the same.

My only complaint about the hotel was the paper-thin walls, but I suspect many of the buildings in Cologne have this problem, given how quickly the city was rebuilt after WW II.

Hi I particularly requested a non-smoking room (as I'm pregnant and don't want to suffer third-hand smoke) and we were assured that it would be a smoking room. But we were given a room that had clearly had smokers in it the morning we arrived. There was also a party held on the Saturday night (at about 1am?) where there were people hanging out on the stairwells smoking and drinking and making a hell of a noise for about an hour, even after I asked them to go away a couple of times. I am a bit annoyed that the owners didn't ask them to at least go into their own room and shut the doors. It was quite upsetting and I actually felt like asking for my money back!close

It is very much a discrete place. The room is decorated in a very minimalistic way but there is a mini-kitchen and a tv. The bathroom is pretty small and it all feels like a student room. Not a bad choice at all.
