Really fabulous breakfast. Looked forward to it each day. Staff was really nice and helpful. Sort of off the beaten path (in a good way), yet still walking distance from everything.

Excelent large room with modern fittings. The breakfast was excelent and in a nice dining room but the hotel didnt really have any atmosphear and was a bit dull. Good for a short break.

Perfect location. Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. A word of caution, there are no elevators, so if you have lots of luggage, this may be difficult should you get a room on the top floor like I did. City Hotel Koeln am Neumarkt was excellent. The room was wonderful. They have internet, but it isn't wireless, so make sure you have an Ethernet cable with you if you want to get on the internet.

Fantastic accomodations! Staff was very helpful and even more friendly. Hotel has been recently remodeled so it has a very clean, modern appearance. Very close (5 min walk) to great Neumarkt shopping area. Also, only a 15 min walk from the train station and the Dom. Hotel has a nice bar... more Fantastic accomodations! The lady who worked there (Helga) was one of the warmest people I have ever met and she speaks great english. I would recommend this hotel to everyone wanting a great location coupled with superb service and extraordinary price. Will definetly stay here again in the summer!close

It's in a great locationand very clean and tidy. You couldn't ask for more from a budget hotel.But don't expect wild parties or to bump into lots of travelling buddies!

This is an excellent small hotel - the rooms are modern, the facilities are spotless. The only reason I haven´t marked it 100% is because it is in Neumarkt. This may not suit everybody. To find the hotel from the U-Bahn (Metro) go to other (west) end of market, and turn left.

Had a great time, the room was everything we needed, very relaxing and clean with all the amenities. Quiet but a stones throw from the christmas markets and shopping streets and attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place. Great value for money.

Great and clean rooms. The hotel is nearly located to all the gay bars in Rudofplatz in Köln. Although be careful with parking on Sunday... it is closed on Sunday!! You might have trouble getting your car back out again!

We really enjoyed our stay at City Hotel, the staff were really helpful, breakfast was delicious and the room was beautiful. It was a plesant walk into the city centre from the hotel. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending City Hotel Koeln.

I didn't get the room I booked. Even though I was given another room in a hotel nearby and was nicely shown the way, I had to pay a little more and the new room didn't perfectly correspond to one I booked before.

A wonderful place to stay, quiet and very clean. The staff is absolut wonderful. Nothing you would like is to much. I will certainly return on our next Trip to Germany. Ken and Iris Gilliams
