I couldn't tell if we were staying at a hostel or a hospital! It is located way too far outside Cologne! We spent most of our time on the trains back and forth. Not a place for young travellers, it's too family oriented. No fun at all.

It has a roof, a bed, and breakfast. Pretty far from the Cologne city center though.

It was out of the city centre - a bus ride was needed to get to and from the hostel, even though its name was the city hostel. Nice, friendly, helpful staff though, a good breakfast - ideal for families.

The fact that the Ubahn was down didn't help on the location front, but still! Free breakfast is good though.

A clean place, but you feels like in a school. Lots of childrens and families. It's hard to find regular travelers to chat a little bit. Probably one of the most clean, but most boring hostel I ever stayed.

It was very good! I recomend it. Great breakfast, clean spaces, mainly de bathroom. A little bit far from Cologne downtown from where you have to take a bus that is not cheap, but it is in a peace place, surrounded by green.

VEEEEERY hard to find... should invest in putting a more visible sign up so guests arriving via s-bahn can find the hostel with ease... we hiked around with our suitcases for over an hour tired and hungry trying to find the hostel.

Quite a big one, very clean, fantastic breakfasts, bistro and cafe in the hostel. The biggest drawback - 3,5 km form the centre. And if you want to party there - you will be disappointed.

Great hostel, great breakfast, very nice staff! However, it is rather more family oriented and you have to be ready to use the U-bahn to get there... although it really is only a 10min ride!

very boring!!! tons of elementary kids and absolutley a terrible location. The directions there were terrible and we spent a long time (in a bad part of town) looking for it! GREAT BREAKFAST THOUGH!!

clean, cheap and secure... BUT too big to have a 'gemutlich' character, that you normally can expect from a hostel. and the check out time of 9 o'clock is way too early for party people!!

Great hostel, staff very nice, absolutely clean, great breakfast. Its not very close from city centre but you can be there in 10 minutes taking the U-18 to city center, just 1.5 euros.

It was a very short stay - we came later then expected (4am instead of 9pm) and had to leave the same morning. But the hostel appeared to be very calm, clean, friendly and with a nice breakfast ))

Very nice hostel and the price is the best. Clean beds, hot shower, toilet in the room. Very nice breakfast. Best hostel I've ever been at.

It was very hard to find, even with the sign at the Subway stop (the sign itself is hard to see too). The "lockers" didn't lock, and could be opened by turning a knob. Every key worked in every locker regardless. Maybe it was the room. The beds were great.

As many people have said in your reviews the hostel was tricky to find. Once you've found it there's no problem afterwards. Just follow the rails and there's a long parking area. Cross it (= away from the road) and you find the hostel. The early chek-out time (9 am) sucks :--) Breakfast was good... more As many people have said in your reviews the hostel was tricky to find. good staff. Far from the city centre, near the Rhein and we almost get lost... Please put something in the metro station to help the guest to find the house! No Wifi, computer in the lobby cost 3euros per hour.
