usually you get what you pay for, but here you get alot more. everything is clean as a whistle and the whole feel to my stay was very comforting due to the very homely vibe. free tea is a plus.

The owner is really nice and helpful. He gave us a map and showed us the interesting place in Cologne. The room and bathroom is neat and tidy. The Hostel is very close to metro station but I think if you are the first time to go there, it's not easy to find this hostel. The breakfast only include...

Nice little place and nice owner. First chioce in Koeln! Message to the owner: I think Studentenkanzler and Gross Fass of the Schloss in Heidelberg worth a visit!

Cool and relaxed hostel in a nice location. The owner makes every effort to help you and make your stay easier. I wish more hostels were this size and so well kept.

Nice bathrooms and pretty friendly hostel owner. I needed to leave a day early and he was accommodating and didn't charge me extra or anything. It's a bit out of the way, but pretty quick to the city and you get to see a new neighborhood.

The Hostel was clean and the breakfast was great. A greatly looked after facility. Tilo was very helpful with guiding us through maps of Cologne. The city itself was amazing and so much fun, but the hostel itself was quiet.

Ideal for the thirty something age group; it's quiet, well located, and the the staff is very friendly. beds are very confortable and the place is clean, so the respectful ones will find it s a very good value for money. Enjoy

The owner is extremely friendly and helpful and the price is pretty reasonable for a hostel quite close to the city with a fantastic kitchen.

There's no curtain on the toilet windows. Only a flower pot. Most inconvenient especially for women.

Really enjoyed the single beds that aren't bunks. Great to have a kitchen to make coffee when you felt like one. Would def stay there again.

Quiet little hostel. Smokey in the "common" room no1 uses as stated, but pretty bad. Adequate kitchen. Comfy beds. Can recommend

There should be a sign outside the hostel so that visitors can find it more easily. The owner should be more polite to the guests. If they speak German, the owner should speak English back. The hostel is not in England!

This hostel is actually somebody's house. Still, it's not too bad because the house is clean, and it's a pretty chill place. This is a great hostel if you want to spend a few days in Cologne and want a quiet, clean place to sleep.

Bit of a hassle to pay only with cash but the rooms were very nice. Rooms were sectioned so it wasn't like a box with 3 bunkbeds, and the bathroom was immaculate.

Great accommodation. Don't come here expecting to meet people or have the traditional hostel 'good time.' Close to metro into the center. I personally loved this hostel, but I bet a lot of people would find it nice but boring.

Nice Hostel a bit out of the centre but easy access on the U-Bahn, friendly guy in what is basically a big house. Clean and tidy but not such a great social atmosphere.

The only improvement I would ask for is the breakfast. Some Meusli maybe? Otherwise, my stay there was great. The owner even picked me up from the train station. Really nice!

Very quiet hostel, nice and with a good location, well connected with the main station by subway. The guy in charge was really helpful and the surroundings are very quiet and perfect to rest after a hard sightseeing day.

A friendly hostel. Clean. Free breakfast is good though simple. The owner provided useful information for travelling in Cologne. Although the location is a bit far away from the main sights, it is still an advisable hostel.
