An average hostel not at all close to the city center. In all, you need at least 40 minutes to get from the hostel to the center, or vice versa. The staff doesn't speak english and didn't know we made a reservation by internet, although they were friendly. If you have nowhere else to go,...

We reserved 2 rooms, but when we got there only one room was available, the reservation from Hostelworld didnt came through. They werent helping much to try to get another room for us (they thought: give back the 20 eu down payment and that would be it), after getting really pist off we got 1... more We reserved 2 rooms, but when we got there only one room was available, the reservation from Hostelworld didnt came through. Also they spoke Turkish all the time, imo thats extremely rude to your custumers. Seems cheap, but believe me, its way too much money for such a crap!close

when ı get to the pension, reseptionist told me that they are full. I made a reservation through hostelworld but they told me that we didn't have such information!

I can't rate the hostel properly because when I arrived I found my room had rented out to someone else. I had phoned the previous day and was told my booking was fine. This conversation was conducted in English but when I arrived neither of the two staff present spoke any English. When I was looking for alternative accommodation I was told that Pension Cologne have a reputation for renting out previously booked rooms.close
