How they can think 11 people can fit into this "hostel" is an absolute joke. Don't expect any room to move about. As soon as one bunk ends another starts, and they even have put two more bunks in the kitchen. Not cheap, & if it's full it will get very cosy

Having to check in by 4:30 but showing up to a closed office at 3pm with a note saying that the office was closed until 4pm and then having to wait until 4:10 was a bit frustrating. Other than that, it was fine.

The apartment was fantastic, it was almost becoming a home away from home!! Very relaxing, quiet and enjoyable.

We were poured water on at eleven at night for being too loud. Sound travels far in Riomaggiorre, but the fun does too.

It has accomodation spread out around Riomaggiore and we were in the building right at the top of the village. Definitely alot of stairs but the view is amazing (and there is a bus which takes you 3/4 of the way up). The cleanliness was immaculate and room was comfortable. Riomaggiore has plenty of restaurants and a couple of bars and an amazing view of the sunset form the little harbour. Highly recommended!close

Stairs, stairs, stairs, stairs, stairs... But it's a good choice if you don't have heavy bags. There were no lights outside at night though.

this room was amid the locals in the courtyard of the village. the house is 300 years old and quite charming. we were given the key and never saw the staff again. we did leave a day early because of a change in plans.....don't even know if anyone noticed...!

Strange and quite unorganized. The 11 bed dorm in cramped, but you will definitely end up meeting the people you`re staying with. Close to the port. Does the trick.

We loved it! The location was great, we were only a few minutes from the water and the train. This village was quitter than the others which we liked because we could take the train to the action or stay locally and avoid the crowds. The staff is very friendly and the room had plenty of space...

I absolutely LOVED this place. I stayed here with friends and family. Essentially it is a house, situated on top of a hill overlooking the ocean. We had our own rooms and outdoor seating area with perfect views! This has been one of my favourite holidays to date!

Travelers only need book this facility if you're willing to climb the equivalent of a 10 story building to get to your room. No soap or maid service during your stay. Frankly, I think you can do better somewhere else.

The kitchen and shower are a little squeezy but we all kept clean and cooked up a few storms in the kitchen so it did not set us back. Great having the downstairs bathroom which is bigger and utilised by us lots. Cheers, Janclose

The hostel was awesome if not a little cramped...the only problem we had was that we pre-paid for a certain number of nights, we let them know more than 24hours in advance but they would only refund us for half the amount we had paid.

It is good for the price, is clean, with hot water and only 15 minutes walk from the center of Siena in a nice area. You dont hear from the staff after you get the keys but that is not necessarily bad. Its confortable if you dont expect to much.
