In the centre of Vernazza, the most fascinating village of Cinque Terre, we offer double rooms with bathroom and with a wonderful balcony with seaview. The family Carro will welcome you in a friendly atmosphere. We have 3 rooms, all with private bath and sea view. When you book you'll receive my e-mail and you can ask me everything you want. Anyhow all the rooms are very closed to the centre of Vernazza, 5 Terre and are independent: you will have the key to return home at any time you want. We take care of every detail: cleaning, booking, waiting for guests. So we really hope that you will be satisfied with our service.

this place is amazing. the view is spectacular. the location is amazing. we would definitely come back, and we are. if you have to choose a town within the cinque terre, Vernazza is the best town and has the most character and the locals are the friendliest.

Elisabetta's place was amazing. We got the top room with a wonderful view. She showed us a couple options and let us have our pick. The view from the room and balcony was breathtaking. Can't wait to visit again.

The room provided was not at the location originally described. It was located next to the caretaker's mothers apt. who did not speak any english and was not interested in being helpful to us in any way.

The room was tiny, and while advertised as private, we had to share some facilities with the resident. Elisabetta was non-existent for our entire stay, and the only person who was consistently around unfortunately spoke no English. An ok place to stay in a crunch, but surely Vernazza and Cinque Terre have more to offer.close

Okay, so, we got the bait and switch and were showed to a room in the owner's mother's house... which was actually okay, and she gave us a lower rate than we'd agreed to online. This spare room approach seems to be pretty common in Cinque Terre, but I would prefer if people were up front about it.

This place is a 2 storey apartment. It has a lot of very steep steps but so does everything in Cinque Terre! The lovely man who owns it even carried one of our 25kg bags up these stairs for us. It was spotless and the rooftop terrace is adorable. Would stay here again!

Fantastic! Gorgeous views from the roof-top patio (great with a bakery breakfast) and the village was probably the least touristy and best of the five. Host even picked us out of the crowd on the main street and led us to the room (how, I have no idea).

We climbed up (very uphill) with our enormous luggage to the adress stated in her emails. When we knocked several times, no one answered. We then had to walk all the way back down to find a phone (and to state that no backpackers have italian cell phones) so we had to find a phone to call her at 11:30pm. Thankfully we found one and she gave us a new adress. Once arrived to the new adress she yelled at us to hurry up the stairs. Once inside she left us in our room...basically her den! It was uncomfortable and akward. The bathroom had dirty towels on the floor and the entire room smelled like pee. We woke up the next morning to her yelling at us to pay and leave. Not only was she yelling, she was yelling in italian...none of which we understood. After fighting with her that we needed to stay there for a bit until our train came we finally somehow managed to agree to leave our bags for an extra hour...although she wanted to charge us 5euros for that. We ran downstairs to get breakfast when we saw her in the town. Again she started yelling at us in italian infront of everyone in the village! BAD EXPERIENCE DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!close

Ended up staying in a room of one of the regular staff's mothers, rather than the advertised place. But this was pretty good. Full of character. Could come & go as you pleased. Had a couple of little patios that had quite nice views, but to be honest, you'd much rather be down at the water...

Perfect location for truly experiencing Cinque Terre and walking the paths. Very clean and roomy. Only concern was a bit of a lack of privacy and noise since it is situated right on the trail to Corneglia from Vernazza. Would definitely stay here again.
