Amazing time, excellent staff, and great atmosphere! We would recommend it to anyone! side note it is a bit noisy at night and busy nightlife so if you´re looking for a quieter place to relax this is not the place for you. Really good location and the staff were extra helpful, buenisimo!

Fantastic location. Big communal areas both indoors and outdoors although bedroom was small. Staff were friendly but not much information given about Santiago. Excellent Spanish classes arranged through the hostel. Would highly recommend.

Funky hostel in the funky part of town, surrounded by bars but not much else. We arrived at 8am and they gave us our rooms straight away and offered us breakfast. It's also the first place in months where we've not had to ask for towels! The living area and patio out front are both nice places... more

You are a blocks away from the busy street full of pubs/ restaurants and at the foot of the hill to the statue. Which is a nice hike to see at sunset. So it is a wonderful location. The hostel is pretty cramped and not too clean. But it was fine.

La Chimba is a very nice hostel. The bathrooms are very clean and due to the door at the street there is some extra security. The "garden" should be mentioned as well as a positive fact.
