Anything else you need to know?
The childhood home is a beautiful Queen Anne style buidling and has not change since the time Ernest Hemingway lived there. Then from the house you can then move down the road to the museum which is host to permanent and temporary exhibits.

In this leafy Chicago suburb, you can see the birth house of the great man himself. Oak Park is understandably proud of their most famous son, although the man himself called the neighbourhood "a place of wide lawns and narrow minds." For 8 dollars you get a guided tour of the house he was born in (his father was a doctor) and entrance to the excellent museum down the road. The museum is filled with Ernest memorabilia, from rare photographs to love letters sent and received during his service in the First World War.close
