I was warned that this hostel was a last resort option and it turned out to be that way! The urinal leaked so that the urine came onto the floor and the staff did not have much local knowledge. Someone who was staying in my room also tried to steal my wallet on the 2nd night whilst the rest of us...

ill admit that as a last resort this hostel is not as awful as sounds from other reviews. But in my one night there it steadily pissed me off more and more. some of the staff members are unhelpful and have a serious attitude problem. p.s- do not expect the breakfast to actually appear!

Water never got warm in my bathroom, but it is cheap. Room was clean and bathroom was extremely clean. It was private though and I bet that helps...

Lights in the rooms which are working and cups or mugs in the kitchen would have been great!

Activities organised at the hostel weren't really supported by the guests that stayed there, but overall was a good experience

It had a bed with a door that locked. Location made public transportation to rest of city very easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very dirty bathrooms.

We had better bathrooms in the COLOMBIAN ARMY!!! The hostel is well located, but it's not nice and tidy. Nice people, no activities, and a beautiful belarussian staff member attended me the first night.

Good for 1 or 2 nights only. Located far too close to the subway, although considering its the cheapest bed in Chicago, its worth the price.

Unfortunately we did not have sleeping bags, so it was a terrible experience to sleep in the beds. The room reminded me a lot about lodges I experienced in India... For this quality definitely to expensive, even for Chicago!!!!close

My room hadn't been cleaned when I showed up. The girl who checked me in hastily brought some new sheets, but neglected to take out the trash from previous guest. Also, the bathroom smelled strongly of urine, but was otherwise not bad.

Two of the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were falling down, one was gone, and the shower stalls and curtains were moldy.
