Great hostel with good helpful service. Its like staying in a big house, fellow travellers around to chat to, etc. Location is ok - nice area itself with shops and restaurants and if you want to go downtown, its 10 minutes in a bus/tuktuk/taxi... Good all round.

In theory this hostel is really good, it might have just been an off week but a few things were wrong, no one was there to let us in when we arrived and we had to wait a few hours for our rooms (Not such a big deal). The staff is really friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean. A nice and homely place to stay. It's a little far from most tourist spots but it's very convenient to get around, just jump on a red truck and it can take you to most places for less than 40 baht. Would definitely come back.

It's not in the city center, but taking a red songthaew in is cheap enough (tuk tuks are more expensive!). Loads of books, DVDs, wifi, cable TV, if you just want to chill out, but plenty of other travelers to meet up with if you're traveling alone! Nice place!

This was a nice backpackers, just very far from the city center. It was great for my friend and I as we were only using it as a pick up and drop of point for a trek, but if you are wanting a night out in Chiang Mai, not the place to stay. Staff were great though.
