a nice looking place, too far out of town when you have had a hard day physically on a bike, or on the snow board i guess. friendly helpful staff, although a shame i had to ask for shampoo and clean towels, twice. decent food and bar. good views of mont blanc. if you dont mind a longish...

More of a hotel than a hostel (you get free shampoo!) but it is a fair distance from the centre of Chamonix and the buses aren't frequent but you can walk it in about 20 mins. Some of the staff were great some were really surly. Room was fine. Breakfast is 7euros50.

The room was lovely&staff were very helpful&friendly so you get value for money as regards those. However,it is 2-3km out of town&the bus services are not great, but apparently they improve in Winter. The bar&restaurant were the only common space for guests and their opening times... more

This is a lovely budget hotel. It's a 20 minute walk away from Chamonix town but well worth it. The breakfast was lovely. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly. Plus it's right beside the bus stop and more importantly a climbing wall! Good value for money. Well done Le Vert Hotel

This is a very nice hotel. But it is just that, a hotel. If you are looking for cooking facilities, there are none. The hostel is also about a 20 min walk out of town. easy bus access though. Other than that, lovely place and really close to some nice walks and parks. staff very nice and helpful.

Could not have been better. We were a 7-person group of various ages, and they treated us really well. Especially enjoyed the active-sports theme.

Clean and decent hotel, the staff was flexible about keeping our baggages. Excellent choice if you come by car, otherwise a 20 min walk from the centre. Breakfast is rather expensive.

I love Chamonix and chose this hotel because it's close to the climbing wall. I was given a large room which was clean and bright. I had my own balcony and a view of the mountains. Breakfast was good and the hotel & bar staff I met were friendly and helpfull. So all in all the stay was a... more

Our room smelled a little funky, and there was some refuse left on the windowsill. We left our luggage in the office because our room was being cleaned. We told the staff we would return around 22:00 and asked if we would be able to retrieve our luggage from the office. The staff told us this... more
