Chalet Etape is located in Les Bossons, 2 kms from Chamonix city centre. Conveniently situated 50 metres from the Les Bossons train station and bus stop, getting to and from town could not be simpler with the free bus and train services. The chalet has a large dining/lounge area where you can enjoy the evening relaxing in front of the open fire (in winter of course). The dining room door leads out into a small garden which offers a spectacular view of the Les Bossons glacier. There are 2 twin rooms on the ground floor, both with en-suite showers and hand basins. On the first floor, there are more twins, a triple and a double room and all but 1 room have en-suite showers too. Breakfast is provided in the price of your room and is served between 8 and 9.00 am.

I loved it. It is 2 train stops from the main town of Chamonix, but it was easy to hop on the train there and back- or take a quick bus. The rooms were comfy and the main area downstairs were great for relaxing and watching movies. My friends and I loved this place, as it was a nice break from... more I loved it. My friends and I loved this place, as it was a nice break from the crazy hostel atmosphere in other towns. Breakfast was great- people were friendly. It was probably my favorite place we stayed during my 6 weeks of backpacking.close
