This place is great for people travelling with others-reallly good value and the pension bit is very nice. Would not meet many people though if you were travelling alone.

It was a bit hard to get to from the train station, i suggest a taxi or bus. heating goes off during the day so if you are there in winter you may want to request for the heating to be put on. great place, lots of character and excelent location, walking distance to everything, even the main bus...

Cant go wrong for location. Helpful staff and free interweb. Dorm was cosy when the heater was working but overall enjoyed our stay.

I was very disappointed that after using the bathroom I found that all my clothes were badly stained and damaged by bleach that had been liberally spread around for cleaning. thin walls so bring your ear plugs but the hostel was in an amazing location and the girl at the reception was lovely. would definately recommend

This hostel by the riverside was excellent! The staff was so helpful and friendly. I had a good stay and will recommend any one who consider staying here.

location was pretty good, just had to walk through the town. Place was pretty nice, free internet, close to everthing, small little rooms, few steps to walk up, but it was a nice place

Rooms were small but comfortable, but very thin walls so had problem with noise from other guests in the kitchen area. Two bathrooms for the whole floor, and had to wait quite a while at times. There was a pot of keys in the kitchen with room numbers on, so questionable security!close

We stayed at the hostel. Great location, good value for money. Our room and the bathrooms were really clean. If you're thinking about visiting Cesky Krumlov - definitely try to make it happen! We had an awesome time and the Hostel Merlin was a great place to stay (even if it was only for one night)

Awesome house just beside the river. Our room was pretty small but it was kinda fitting with Cesky Krumlov and it did not bother us. Great value for your money too!

We stayed in the pension and it was great, all the facilites you need, with nice big rooms. Just wish the weather had been nicer so we could make better use of the fabulous garden.

woman that "greeted us" was not friendly at all. if anything she acted like she was doing us a favor, even though we were paying customers. would never go back simply because of her.

We stayed in the Pension, and it was great. Not the most friendly staff, but other than that, it was fantastic. Loved the free coffee and it seemed really good value for money, esp compared with Prague.

Girl that was there when we checked in was excellent and helped us out heaps. The other girl knew nothing and didn't seemto want to be there. Very quiet little place but was good for what Cesky Krumlov is all about. Beware if you're tall you won't be able to piss standing up for the low roofs. I LOVED this place! By far my favorite hostel so far. It's very cute and definitely fits the character of the town, and the girl who works there is incredibly nice and helpful and great to get to know. I highly highly recommend it!!

Very nice hostel, right beside a rafting place which was good. very near main square, easy to get to from bus. good staff, nice kitchen, and very nice balcony overlooking the river where you can have a drink and meet some people. loved cesky krumlov

I stayed both pension Merlin and hostel Merlin, pension Merlin is highly recommend, Hostel Merlin is only cheap, but pension Merlin is much better than the price. By the way, The boss is nice.

Hostel není špatný. Je docela za dobrou cenu vzhledem k tomu, že je v centru města. Pokoje jsou však malé a sotva se tam vejde jeden, natož dva lidi... Ale zase na přespání to stačí...
