its a typical tourist place but not really a nice city and there is no beach close by so you have to take a bus which nearly need 40 min to a nice beach but there you can only stay till 3 pm than a strong wind starts to blow and the beach is occupied by kite surfers and you risk to crash into one...more its a typical tourist place but not really a nice city and there is no beach close by so you have to take a bus which nearly need 40 min to a nice beach but there you can only stay till 3 pm than a strong wind starts to blow and the beach is occupied by kite surfers and you risk to crash into one of these if you stay on the beachclose

  1. Hotel Cascais Mirage 100%      

    The best Hotel by far of Europe, I visited many many Hotels in my life but the architecture, location, views, facilities, rooms and employees of this wonderful Hotel are, by far, the best I have ever seen. Of course the prices are high as in all the five stars but still not very high compared...

    Absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast in the sunny garden each day was lovely. Staff very nice. Excellent location. The only place to stay in Cascais.

    Lovely house with sweet garden right in the centre of Cascais. 5 minutes walk to beach, 2 mins walk to train station. Couldn't ask for more.

  4. Guincho Surf Beachostel 95%      

    This is the best hostel in Europe, hands down. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen, view of the ocean, super nice bathroom and comfy beds. Its by far the best hostel you will ever stay at. It was, however, a pain to get here. Take a taxi from the Cascais bus station for about 8 euro.

    Really enjoyed staying at the Atlantida, hospitatility, peace and quiet, and great service from the staff. Better than a hotel in my opinion. Margaret and Helen 10/10
