Stay a day or two and head to west Wales for gorgeous views in Pembrokeshire. Good nightlife when it gets going. Ask locals where to go. |

cardif as such is not a value for time. but based out of cardif, you can reach all the satellite places around cardif, whch requires at least 3 days. and make sure, you plan properly as sundays, most stuff open at 11 and close by 4. |

Great little city. We highly recommend the guided tour of Cardiff Castle. |

Cardiff is fantastic. It has all the flair and culture of a capitol city, but the people will still look you in the eye and smile as if it were a small town. Definitely go down to the Bay. |

Cardiff is a great city, a real gem. Laid back, easy to get around, lots of parks, friendly locals, cheap & great weather. Great shopping. Recommend a day trip to the beach. |

The locals were slightly stand offish, but the peope we meet from other cultures really made up for it. A great city with loads of potential :o) |

The city is faboulous, especially if one doesnt expect much before comming. Although small, it has nightlife even on mondays and tuesdays-in the middle of summer. This is not an often the case for a city of 300 000 inhabitants. |

My favorite things:
-the feeling of the city
-the buskers
-the pedestrian-only streets
-Cardiff Castle--it's pretty fun, despite the price
-Welsh love spoons
-the Farmer's Market by river and the stadium every Sunday--AWESOME!!
-seeing the local rugby games (VERY fun!)
-the (free) Cardiff Museum o' random stuff |

There's enough in Cardiff to keep you busy for a week! You can buy almost anything in the Welsh Capital , and there are more pubs and clubs than people! Daytime offers a myriad of good quality cafes and bistros. It's a cosmopolitan city, especially with the massive influx of East Europen peoples. The city is ever changing and going through massive rejuvenation. All in all, if London is too big for you, head for Cardiff! Imi. |

For just getting to know the city you don't need more than two days in cardiff. If you are into walking the city is perfect for you, because for getting around in the city every thing is within walking distance, despite the cardiff bay. It is not far though, the way itself is only a bit 'doodgy'. That's probably the reason why everyone recomends the bus. |

I enjoyed my holiday in cardiff very much. There are so many beautiful places to see. The weather is a bit horrible at times but at least there is a lot of indoor intertainment at affordable prices too. I particularly injoyed the ice rink which is not too far away from the city centre. I would definately visit cardiff again but in the summer next time. |

Cardiff was a nice city. Saturday nights are dominated by drunk 18 year olds passed out on the streets. However there are many pubs etc to choose from. Cardiff Castle is a must!!! |

I liked the park, the castle and the coffee shops. Cardiff is a great base for seeing what Wales has to offer and transport links are good. |

very nice city |

very small town, friendly and relaxed people.
There isn't so much to do and to see, however the castle is fascinating. The Welsh language is very interesting, completely different from English.
If it's sunny go to the bay.
Good place for a weekend with friends |

Mimosa was a fabulous spur of the moment decision, surrounded by what seemed to be chain restaurant after chain restaurant it was great to find this stylish little restaurant offering fresh local welsh food served with a little lesson in the welsh language. The relaxed dinning experience was a change from being rushed through your courses and as we decided to stay most of the night it was fantastic to see the transformation from restaurant into a funky chilled out bar. Not a place for a quick snack but for a pleasant relaxed evening cared for by the professional, friendly staff it's perfect. |

Just see the castle and the museum and then get out. Shouldn\'t be longer than just a few days. |

We had shots at this awsome little pub, directly behind the Nomad hostel! It was awsome staggering distance! |
