I know that I should forgive the place since it's trying to improve, but my room smelled strange, and wasn't very clean. However, I did appreciate having my own room and bathroom for the hostel price. The bar was loud at night, but the breakfast was amazing, with more choices...

Our bathroom was terrible, the toilet didn't flush properly and made an horrendous noise when using it. The common areas were great though, shame the rooms weren't of a smilar standard.

pretty dodgy upstairs and in bathrooms, but was a great location right near the castle, great bar and lounge downstairs and club next door.

The bed was awful. I would make that a #1 priority upgrade. Otherwise, it was a good budget hotel in a great location.

Great location, but the beds were horrible and the shower _extremely_ moldy. That said, I know they are still in the process of doing the property up and it was good value for the money we paid.

the hostel was the worst i have stayed in!!! totally over-priced. bathroom was appalling! couldn't wait to leave, the hostel is built on a nightclub so it was really difficult to sleep.

Very noisy, can hear the music that starts early morning & is playing till late at night at the bar down stairs. quite old and dated, the floors made a lot of noise from the room above, felt like the other occupants were going to fall through the roof. could do with a refurb. Excellent location opposite the Millenium Stadium. Very friendly staff but the worst shower I've ever used, could do with a facelift with nicotene stained wallpaper in the non-smoking room I booked. But the location and staff make up for it & it is a budget hotel afterall.

We are living at the top floor and have to climb up zig zag stairs. Moreover, the room has many area needs to be repair before we arrive.

a very good hostel with small ways to cardiff castle, in the city centre and to the mainstation. the millenumstadium is before your hostel-door ;-)

Had heaps of fun at this hostel...the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean and located close to the city centre. An excellent place to stay!

Very friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast, good parties. The only drawback is that it's a bit expensive as are all the youth hostels in the south of Great Britain.
