Great kitchen, movies lounge and a small bar not for partying, just to buy drinks. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Washing is done for you - including folding. Great

check the couch for the person supposed to be on reception if checking out early...they may be asleep, so the bell is not effective!

All the staff were very hospitable and easy-going. Lee and his girlfriend were really nice people and had good knowledge of the local area (pub and club locations)

Great staff - with a bar on site which Brad and Lee assured me was the cheapest double vodka in Cardiff! (I might use the term cost-effective, but hey) Quiet at night, free internet with a good connection speed. No problems recommending it to anyone. Cheers guys!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Nomad! The staff were excellent and the place was very clean. Plenty of bathrooms+toilets and there's a large kitchen and a cool lounge area with a big tv. Free wifi too!

i would recommend this hostel if u're going to cardiff... spacious and clean common room, bathrooms and kitchen, room was abit packed but i was in a 12-bedded room so it wasnt really their fault. Staff were ok, location not too far from city centre..

It was nice to have staff that actually care for once, they were really friendly and helpful, especially Donna and the other owner (I didn't get his name) The bathrooms were the only downfall, but they're getting replaced, so i would definitely stay there again.

I liked this hostel, very clean and trendie place. When I went to wash my hand after toilet, there was no soap or towel to wash and wipe your hands. I thought that was odd.

This was the quietest hostel I have stayed in. I stayed in a 12 person room and was the only one there. Don't expect a lot of partys here. Otherwise I didn't have any problem except that there was no door key so you had to ring for the staff member to open the door each time you came back and...

The security seemed a bit weird, no locks on any doors and so when I came back late at night someone let me in when I buzzed but I don't know how they knew I was staying there! Could have let anyone in! That seemed dodgy. Apart from that seemed ok.

Overall wasn't too bad; breakfast was average; rooms overcrowded; security is rather dodgy with no room keys or lockers. Look up directions before you arrive since there aren't any on hostelworld; the street is just off the city centre map and noone seemed to know where I was talking about.
