We were greeted with a warm welcome and ushered into the busy busy interior where we couldnt make our mind up over what to eat on the fab menu. We settled for Pauls Brekkie Grill , a bacon and brie on the biggest croissant ever, a lassi and 2 coffees. All came to a very cheap 120 rands which is less than €15 for 2 people! They also do dinner and we were tempted to go back but with so many great places to choose from didnt make it back.close

   Having been wanting to try some of the excellent game that South Africa has a reputation for we asked a taxi driver to bring us to Long St and towards bars and restauarnts, we saw this place and the menu looked good so in we went. It was a nice restaurant with a lots of game hanging on the walls!... more Having been wanting to try some of the excellent game that South Africa has a reputation for we asked a taxi driver to bring us to Long St and towards bars and restauarnts, we saw this place and the menu looked good so in we went. It was a nice restaurant with a lots of game hanging on the walls! The staff were friendly. The food was delicious, the portions massive, we didnt order a starter and still had difficulty finishing our main courses. We had Game Goulash, Cape Salmon, both were delicious and came with so much tasty veg I didnt know where to start. they had a nice concise wine list and of course we had a bottle! Total bill for this top meal was 270 rand, about €30.close

   Royale is a burger bar that serves up excellent veggie and meat burgers. With over 20 different types of burgers to choose from there really is something for everyone. I paid 48 and 50 Rand for a delicious lentil and chick pea mix burger and my compamion a meaty one.

   Melissa's was a welcome stop off on a Sunday from a downpour. They have a deli and serve great coffees, delicious cakes and wines too. Total for 2 cappucinos, carrot cake and brownies came to 58 Rand. About €7

Its located in an old style building and was quite on a Monday when we stopped off. The food was delicious, famous for their Cheese Souffle and Crispy Duck (both excellent) I would recommend it if you are after a quite evening out!close

   This is a great liitle restaurant in place called Kynsa which takes in a nature reserve,order your drinks and fresh fish-oysters by the dozen-delicious!!
